What We Do
Streams Ministries exists to help restore the awe of God to the earth and to help people fulfill the purpose God created them for.
We believe that every individual, church, ministry, business, and nation has a specific calling—something special and sacred—in God, and we get to help them discover and fulfill that calling as we teach about the awe of God and how to recognize what He is saying. Our goal is to encourage people to respond to His voice and fully expect Him to step in and do what cannot be done.
We accomplish this goal in three ways:
We Want to Reveal God
We talk about God—how big He is, what He can do, His unlimited nature, His astounding love, His self-revelation in the coming of Jesus. We teach from the Bible about His nature and His ways. We demonstrate His love practically by serving the poor, encouraging those who are struggling, healing the sick, prophesying to those in need of revelation, and helping the oppressed find freedom.
We Want to Awaken Dreams
We train people in how to remember and understand their dreams. Though dream interpretation is a core facet of our ministry, we mean much more than just dreams in the night. We also help people awaken to what God was dreaming about them before the world began (Eph. 1:3–6; 2:10). We address and minister to that cry for significance and purpose that haunts every person until they discover for themselves the genius of God’s plan for their lives.
We Want to Change Lives
As we encounter God, learn how to respond to Him, and experience His true nature, everything changes.
As we recognize how involved He really is in our lives and the world around us, we start seeing Him everywhere.
As we experience the depth of His love for us, we come alive—chains fall off, weakness becomes just an an opportunity for His strength, and faith becomes normal.
We believe the best way to reach the cultures of the world is to engage them locally, so toward that end, we’re helping to develop and mature prophetic communities around the globe. Streams courses and other resources are being translated into key local languages, and we’re equipping and raising up local ministers and leaders to teach others to hear God, understand what He is saying, and respond to Him. (2 Tim. 2:2).
