Teacher Dream Tips 1 & 2
Moderators Note: These two tips come in from one of our teachers.
1) For several years now I have had many white people who have dreamed of their pastors/bosses. In the dream they are black, but in reality they are white. Finally last fall, I to had one of those dreams. What Holy Spirit taught me was these were ones (authority figures) who have been in the fields, working the fields and being burned by the Sun, tending the garden.
2) There has been several whose dreams have had at different times things or themselves spinning either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Holy Spirit showed me in a dance that as one spins they are bring into wholeness things in their life or taking request to or bring answers back. Clockwise is taking up to heaven and counter is to bring down from heaven. Isaiah 55:10,11
What is the criteria for being labeled “prophetic”?
Are you only accepted as a “prophetic” person if you dream dreams?
What is the meaning of vibrating in a dream?
I dreamed I was reclined backwards (like you recline in a dentist chair) but I was not sitting in a chair nor was I in an office. I could see a row of green leafed trees but I couldn’t tell if I was inside or outside.
A man kept pushing and pulling out a glowing white stick in my mouth, but he wasn’t touching teeth, gum or my throat. In the dream I’m thinking this man is an angel. All the while he is doing this I am vibrating from the top of my head to my feet.
As I am dreaming I keep asking the Lord, Am I being healed?
When I wake up–I still feel the vibration’s after affects. I ran my tongue over my teeth and gum–but felt no difference. I looked in a mirror and there is still a gap where a tooth is missing…
I’ve been believing GOD for a supernatural touch in my mouth and teeth. Was this dream a “sign” that HE has heard my prayers–or did I dream this because I’ve been praying about this awhile?
The thing is every once-in-awhile that “vibration” hits me for a second……!?!

You may find some insight in 1 Corinthians 12-14 as to New Testament Prophecy. The term “prophetic” tends to be used as a broad term for anyone that receives Holy Spirit led insight into the nature, character and heart of God as it is to be communicated for the purpose of building up the church. Of course there are also false prophets and therefor the “false prophetic.” God uses dreams, visions, insights during hours of consciousness and even life events ( such as deer running or birds flying, etc….). Prophetic does not always mean a future event. As Paul the Apostle lays it out in the above passages it is a tangible & understandable utterance of words that communicates the heart of God for a specific person or people that will 1. Encourage 2. Exhort (strongly encourage or urge) 3. Comfort the hearer. Keep in mind that God can do these 3 things in various ways. Sometimes dreams, visions, and life events. Therefore to answer your question, you do not have to dream dreams to be “prophetic.” There is much to be said about this wonderful gift. John Paul Jackson has authored a CD Ceries titled Developing your Prophetic Gifting that might help. I recommend a book titled Approaching the Heart of Prophecy by Graham Cooke. It is very thorough and is the first of a six volume series on prophecy and the “prophetic.” This is worth a study if you want to be a person of character that God can used to build up His church eternally. I dreamed I was outside my house and in the tree was a small snake and a white owl. The owl changed into a duckling and the snake fell to the ground and grew 18 inches long. And another snake appeared. My mom came out of the house standing on the porch. My mom is afraid of snakes so I was yelling and jumping up and down waving my arms to get her attention to warn her to go back inside, but she couldn’t hear or see me. She had headphones in her ears. I think I went passed the two snakes and took my mom inside the house.
Next, I was inside the house, outside it was raining. I am Native American and a medicine man had his medicine of sage and cedar and other stuff, he was laying out on the floor. He had an old staff and said he was gonna burn it up in fire. He had a new staff and was gonna put it over the smoke of the burning staff so that the power of the old will go into the new staff.
What could this mean?
I keep having dreams about aliens…that they are invading my home and I always unprepared. Sometimes it’s the end of the earth – it’s about to be destroyed by the sun exploding or war. We are sealing up windows, gathering food and I’m looking for all my loved ones and neighbors. Hiding the children to protect them from the aliens. One dream, they specifically went after the kids. What do aliens in dreams mean? They are always very scary and unsettling.
I’ve also had many dreams about snakes. In our backyard we have big boulder and my kids and the neighbor’s kids were outside playing as they always do. Suddenly, a bunch of little black snakes came out from under the boulder and started going after the kids. I ran out there with a shovel (I had been watching from the house). I started hitting the snakes and a big one came after me about to bite me – I think it was the “mother” snake. I unfortunately dropped my shovel and just as it went to bite me I stomped on it’s head and crushed it under my heal.
Another snake dream I had involved my husband. We were at my parent’s house in the backyard. They have an appletree and my husband and I were talking by it. Suddenly a thick black snake came out of the tree and started to go after my husband. I told him to grab it’s neck and strangle it. It looked right at me and showed it’s fangs and hissed. It was a cobra and was about to bite me but my husband grabbed it. I kept telling him he had to strangle it and kill it. I think he did or was choking it but I woke up and am not sure if he did kill it or not.
I’ve heard snake dreams mean…tales…or lies? Does this mean I am going to protect the kids and my husband from lies? I have snake dreams and alien dreams all the time. I’m just curious what they all mean?

I took a class on prophecy and what I learned is that it is for all who would believe as we are all called as believers to desire the gifts God gives. Though there is a difference between being a “prophet” and being “prophetic”. I recomend digging into the Word for some more insight.
Also, not everyone can say they dream, not everyone remembers. Dreams do not make you prophetic, they make you a dreamer. The gift of prophecy is for encouragement and building up of the body. It’s like a dose of love and guidance from God spoken through someone.
(All said is based on what I’ve learned from scripture and practice)
I had a dream that once while I was at work, this pastor (priest, in my case) came to me and he spoke words of knowledge or prophecy. Then I was given to see bright eyes and hands. He also told me that I was to attend the second part of a retreat (conference. On the previous night before I had this dream I also dreamt of a beautiful retreat centre. Im trying to understand what God wants to speak to me through this.

I looked through my books and CD’s. I have an old 6 part cassette series by John Paul called Prophetic Reformation that I haven’t listened to in quite awhile. I also have a book by Graham Cooke called “Developing Your Prophetic Gifting”—I will reread and listen to these.
When the Holy Spirit trains you in unique ways that does not always fit the “norm”—you wonder sometimes
why you didn’t come up the typical way…If that makes any sense.

I was in a small white room with a clear window. There was a bed in this room, and two people a man with glasses and a woman beside him. The two people in the dream were John and Paula Sandford from Elijah House ministry.
I looked out the window and saw in the sky 3 things.
The first: a multitude of flying birds carrying something in their feet as they flew past the window from left to right. The man commented to the woman “only a few of them can see these” The woman replied, “oh darn” I would have liked to have seen that” The curtain was drawn over the window to her.
The second: Something that looked like a chariot pulled by clouds that looked like horses.
The Third: A stirring in the center that looked like an eddy with a living object in the center. It somehow burst and feathers fell falling on people ~ and when the feathe touched each one “poof” they were gone ~ all that remained were clothes.
I saw a multi~striped sweater with jean pants and they were still in the “form” of the body that was in it!
That was “how fast” each one “went” as the feather touched!
Then I suddenly awoke from dream. Dream date: April 26-07
to Dreamer8376, I had a similar dream, but no aliens, it was a war and I was helping the children to safety. I was in a building with other helper and the children needed a pass to go to the shelter. I got index cards and was writing on them as fast as I could so all the kids can be saved.
Two nights ago I dreamed about driving our silver Mazda Protege and I stopped the car and opened the trunk because I heard a bump sound. I opened the trunk and pulled out of the sand this big object it was a huge turtle. There were four turtles in the sand in the trunk of my car. 3 of them varying sizes but they were big. The fourth one never grew and was petrified.
I put the turtles in the backyard at my Mom’s house. They crawled in the grass and under a bush they were looking for water. I was so excited and I told my Dad in the dream about it. Then, I picked them up and put them back in the trunk to find a body of water????
What do turtles mean? Why were they in my trunk in sand?
What was wrong with the one turtle that never GREW big like the other three???
Also, please, any insight into the dream above this one that I shared. That one I dreamed during a fast!
This is a dream my husband had, we are new with trying to interpret dreams and any thoughts are much appreciated.
I’m standing at a school and the wind is picking up, in a field next to the school, I see 1 tornado coming from the right and 1 from the left. As those two are just about to merge I see 2 more coming. Myself and a black guy start getting people into these concrete walkways that are in the ground. I turn back and count the tornadoes, 1,2,3,4. Then coming from behind the green trees on the left there is #5. I say “holy cow that’s 5″ then run down the stairs trying to push people down telling them to hold on.
Before I went to bed I ask God what was going on with my relationship with a boyfriend. Why was there a break up? So, I ask God to cleanse me of any sins and purify me with blood of Jesus. I begin to worship God so that the windows of heaven could open.
As I close my eyes I could see something going on. But I couldn’t make it out. There was no color and no light. All I could see was something was moving. So I ask God to reveal it in a dream.
The first thing I notice in my dream while lying down was a snake rotating around my ear. This whole time I am in my bed room and the lights are off. I felt very uncomfortable because I didn’t know if the snake was a physical thing. It felt creepy. I seem to be a small snake. Then I notice there was a man at the door that look like one of my teachers. I not really sure of who he is. He looks like my teacher but had more weight on him. It felt like my spirit came out of my body and found myself face to face with whatever this was. Man or demon– I don’t know. First I started to fight with my hands and he threw me to the side just a little bit then I started to rebuke and cast it out. I notice it start running down a hallway that seem to be connected to my room. I woke up and had a lingering feeling like someone was touching my tongue. Not sure of what this is.
me and my husband has been seperated for a while. so last summer I had a dream and In that dream a screen picture opened up and me and my husband was talking and he was showing me under his left arm how he had almost died, and if i still wanted to be married to him and he had a receipt that showed he bought new wedding ring. does anyone know what this about. He never said in the dream how he almost died nor do i remember seeing any mark.

A friend of mine had a dream about me. He is a brother who has spoken into my life quite a bit, but recently, we’ve not been seeing eye-to-eye. Here is his dream:
“In the dream, I am driving a car and you are in the passenger seat. You are telling me that you have put together a really good CD and that you are looking for a Label to distribute it and want to know if you could use our Label? I tell you that our label is just for our stuff and so it probably wouldn’t go very far that way, that you should probably look for one that has more contacts. Then you comment on your running shoes again about how much they stink and so you take them off and ask if you can put them on my side and then you put them over on my side of the car.”
I have been dreaming about dangerous, toxic fungus. In one dream there was a large room in my home that was empty except for one large chair. This chair had been brought home from a thrift shop, and white, stringy fungus had come out of it and filled the room. I knew I had to clean it up, but was afraid to begin, because I knew I could become infected with the fungus, and if I did, it could be deadly.
In another dream I had purchased some interesting insects and put them in a room in a corner of a garage as a sort of display or terrarium. There was a butterfly, a bird (yes, I realize birds are not insects), some bright purple spiders that looked like tarantulas, and some other brightly colored insects. I checked on them from time to time and enjoyed looking at them, although I had a feeling that I was responsible for them, and I wasn’t completely sure how to care for them all.
I began to realize a fungus was growing among them, and some of them began to die, covered with fungus. I felt sad, but I had no idea what to do for them. My father was alive in the dream (he actually died in 1985 and I rarely dream of him), and I apologized to him because I had placed the family in danger by bringing these infected creatures to our home. He told me not to try to care for them any more, but to just stay away. Shortly after this some ants invaded our home, and I was terrified that they were carrying this deadly, toxic fungus and that we and our home would be infected.
As a side note, I live in California, and there have been reports of a deadly fungus in the Pacific Northwest. Also, I have long thought much about how strict the OT law is about getting rid of mold in the home, and I have seen interesting information stating that cancer is likely caused by fungal infections.
I think these dreams are likely a direction to pray about something, or some sort of warning. If anyone has any wisdom please share!
This is not a dream I have but something that happens daily. My son first staring experiencing this but then it started happening to me. All day long, every day I see 3 numbers in a row. example 222. They are never specific numbers but the three always match. I see them on clocks, signs, anywhere there are numbers. Maybe this is nothing but its very strange to me. Could God be trying to tell me or my son something?
A few years ago, I had a dream that has recently been brought back to my mind. I find myself thinking about it often and I get such joy just thinking about it. I’d like to share it with you. I built a pool in the middle of a very large concrete courtyard. The pool was two pools in one, separated inside by a concrete wall. The outside of the pool was made of red brick. It had steps on the outside to walk up and steps inside to walk down into it. The water inside was crystal clear. I went down into the pool and as I was climbing the steps to get out, my mom was standing at the top of the stairs with a large white bath towel. She wrapped the towel around me to cover my nakedness. While she was doing this, I looked out into the courtyard. There was a line of people as far as the eye could see. They were all dressed in white robes. They were waiting to get into the pool. The dream ended. What do you make of this?

Here’s one that I have pondered for a couple of years now. I dreamed that I opened my bible and it opened with the first turn to Romans 8. I lifted the top edge of the page to turn it and a third of the page gently tore out. I noticed that this part of the page was completely blank. I lifted the page again and the second third of the page smoothly tore out. It was also blank with no print. When I looked at the page again I noticed that the scriptures to the last 1/3 of the chapter was still there. I woke up before I had a chance to read it.
The dream had such a profound impact on me when I woke up that I make it a habit to read Romans 8 every so often. I know it was speaking directly to me regarding my walk with Christ. My Pastor said that I have grown so much over the years that God is speaking to me and beginning to reveal things to me in His Word. He had me to analyze the entire book and pray that God would open up my understanding in doing so. Any opinions?
Being this as an uncategorized segment, I wanted to mention something that puzzles me in dream interpretation on this site and from others. One symbolism that seems very prominent in many dreams is that of the dreamers/others “teeth following out” or “teeth being worked on”. I agree with most of the symbolism that I’ve seen as an added element, but I have not heard it mentioned that teeth also mean relationships in the body of believers.
Our Creator gave us this huge and amazing lesson on how relationships work best when he designed TEETH.
Of course, we all know that symbolization is regarded as a tool or guideline to begin to understand what certain things mean in a dream. We also know that we cannot hard wire symbolism into every dream we have, because we need to take into consideration “special meanings” to individuals. I think we all are on the same page there.(For instance a yellow rose has always spoke to me of my grandmother) etc..
In the past, I have had outrages teeth dreams! When I have tested the following symbolism, for example, to my teeth dreams, and others, I have found it to be amazingly reliable! MOst importantly, as with everything, we should make sure the scripture is our guide.
So that being said, my primary reference to the meaning of teeth in symbolism (besides the simple fact that they are individual parts of a group) … Comes from the most (colored with symbolism) book in the bible, The Song of Solomon:
(Remember teeth require a relationship with one another to be fully functional. They are at there best when aligned properly.)
In the Song of Solomon they are referred to as sheep.
Song of Solomon 4:2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them. … Sheep travel in flocks so they speak of Covenant Relationships. Many times they are used symbolically referring to a sheep fold which is a body of believers “Solomon gives us one key here of symbolism when he speaks of the teeth being “as” even shorn sheep …
A functional body of believers, washed by the Word. Each one evenly shorn (giving his part) in the group, and equally so.
And just as an added note when looking at teeth dreams as group/body relationships
The upper jaw is the non moving portion of the mouth. It is stable and it is “over” the lower jaw, the lower jaw moves to chew. The upper and lower jaw are, also, in relationship. We are all sheep. The upper/ over stable sheep are a unified body of governing believers who have been given charge over the “underling flock” and they are in relationship. A broken jaw could mean broken relationship between a governing body and the people. Wisdom teeth for instance: In a dream are they lower or upper? Being taken out? Or put in? Again in relationship to the rest of the flock as being a wise person, not just wisdom. You cannot look past the fact that teeth come in flocks LOL … I hope that those who have not seen can look at this as a viable explanation or symbol to some of these dreams regarding teeth, and perhaps begin considering- Sheep, Flock, Sheepfold, relationships, etc. I apologize if this is a mainstream consideration that is already in use, and I haven’t seen it. It has opened up powerful insight for me in the past and an amazing revelation of where or how I have set in relationship to the body of Christ, including loss and gain of relationships and functions. Eye tooth- seer. Upper jaw Wisdom tooth- Leadership wisdom. Lower jaw scissor,eye or wisdom tooth- congregational giftings ext.. -blessings

I experience the same thing but with different tri~sets of numbers. 333 most frequently and 444 the other. For awhile there I was seeing 11:11. For that one, I “heard” a voice whisper to me in the early morning “eleven”. I woke up and wondered to the Lord? “Eleven” what does that mean. Extreme Prophetic had a conference in Calgary Alberta called the Glory School. It ran Feb 11th. My grandson started singing “11, 11, 11″ I knew I was to go to the conference. Right up until I left I would see 11:11 on signs, the digi clocks. I wonder if anyone else has been getting numbers in triplicate..lol ?!
I would like to know how does one know if God is speaking to us in dreams or if it is just our imagination. I often dream about things that are related to the events of a day or a conversation .I have always dismissed these dreams and assumed that they had to do with the events of the day.
Could they mean more?
I have had numerous dreams in which the Lord has shown me different things, especially over the past 25 yrs. A lot of the symbols, etc. that I have seen posted so far in this blog forum are in many ways familiar. Very incouraging, and at times interesting.
One dream in particular that I had back in the early 90’s has lingered with me over these past years. I have connected with Stream Ministries because I believe there is something regarding this ministry that the Lord prepared me for in that dream.?? In the dream I am pulled over onto the side of a rural road. I’m standing outside of my vehicle (in the front). A man approaches me with white hair (face not revealed). He tells me his name is John Paul, (to the best of my knowledge I did not know anyone by that name at the time) and then he lays his hand on my head and I go out ‘in the Spirit’. When I ‘wake up’ the man is gone and I find myself in one of several classrooms. They were filled with traditional christian women of all ages. I was there to share with them whatever it was that was imparted to me. (I knew this was why I was there in the dream.) It’s good to release this.

its funny you said youve seen the 11:11. I have been seeing that alot too. lol Still see the tri-numbers. Still dont know what they mean. It gets attention though. Don’t know much about flowers in dreams. Do you? …Had a dream/vision.
A beautiful, almost glowing-like gold or amber background with beautiful, small delicate sprigs of indigo & purple or magenta flowers, maybe 4-7, like a painting. The glow or highlight of the background (gold or amber) increased right behind the flowers.

I’m on the inside of a very tall/privacy-like, white fence. A black cat now appears & is walking on the 2×4(?) at the ‘top’ of the frame. The 2×4 now bows out/bends out toward me and the cat walks on this as it is bowed out toward me – being right & looking right at face level.
