Vehicles in Dreams
Another element that often finds its’ way into your dreams are vehicles: cars, trucks, buses, airplanes, boats, etc. Anyone familiar with the Streams dreams courses will know that vehicles in dreams represent the “vehicle” that helps get you to your destination, destiny or purpose in life. It doesn’t have to represent your life-long dreams, sometimes it can be a job or temporary assignment along the way to something greater. God has much to say about your “vehicle” through life — past, present and future. But you have to pay close attention to the details.
What the vehicle looks like — type, color, make or model — describes the “vehicle” in life that is currently propelling you toward your destination. For example, if you find yourself always driving trucks in your dream, it conveys that your “vehicle” is helping others, as trucks are designed to carry loads, or sometimes tools that provide help for others.
Once again, there is no one size fits all interpretation for dreams. A true interpretation will almost always resonate in your heart immediately. We’ll discuss other types of “vehicles” next time.

Could someone help me figure out my dream? I recently had a dream in which I bought a white truck from a lady. I don’t know who she is in the dream. She said I could have the truck for $50. She was selling everything she had in her home and what she couldn’t sell she was going to blow up. I bought the truck and drove off in it. My son was sitting in the passenger side. I was thinking that this would be a good truck for him when he gets his DMV license.

I had a dream about two nights ago, that I was on a red double decker bus-which is normal here in London, I was upstairs with two of my cousins of whose houses I was sleeping that night, they were sitting in front of me and about 3 secs later inspectors came on removed me (alone) from the bus left them because I didn’t have my ticket!…can anyone help.
Elsa, my thoughts are you will receive something from God that is not being used by someone else. This will take you into a new direction. As your son matures, this gift will be a part of his life.
On another note, this blog is very interesting and helpful. I wish there was more to read.
I had a dream repeatedly that I was with the President of my country (Dominican Republic) and that when I went into the National House He greeted me and told me: God told him that I was coming and He reserved a seat for me! We sat at a table of a Celebration Dinner everything white and I was going to sit in a chair. The president told me He was reserving a Chair for me and he pull it out for me to sit.I sat next to him and we aet and he got close to me and drank my drink and he kiss my mouth. The next dream about Him is that The president’s wife told me that I was going to be America’s tutor! (I find out the youngest daughter’s name is Yolanda America. Then, The other dream is that The President was telling me I was going to teach His daugther and the first Lady gave me a Card that said:ABC. Then, I saw myself pulling a Black Mercedes Ben and it was lacking a tire and I was pulling it with a cord to the mechanich’s shop for repair , the mechanich did and I got in and drove the road which had bumps and holes in it but I pass them. Can The Spirit of God help me to interpret this sequential dream!
Hi – I recently dreamt that I was standing looking at the back of this red car. It was a powerful car and the next moment it reverses past me – but at such a speed that it almost takes me out. And in the dream I still say – woah that almost took me out. I’m confused about the reversing bit. The whole dream was set in darkness and only the car was in red. Can anybody please help?
Alina, the fist thing that i got from your dream was that you have a high calling that has been placed upon your life by the Lord Himself, the national house represents the courts of heaven, specifically the inner sanctuary of the inner courts. The only way that you can get there is through the vehicle of worship and frequent communion and an intimate walk with the Lord. The Lord is calling you into a closer walk with Him a one of close intimacy. The Lord also wants to remind you that you are seated in the heavenly places alongside of Jesus at the right hand of the Father, the place of deep intimacy, communion as you intercede for the nations of the earth, specifically the youth of America. There is a play on words in yolanda america, your land is America. The daughter/first lady, the Bride or the church here in america. You have a ministry gifting as one of a teacher. Up until now you have been putting much of your own effort into preparing for your ministry, but the Lord is saying to rely on the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This is the only way for you over come the distractions that have gotten in the way. The Lord wants you to trust in Him for the preparation and give everything over to Him and He will get you to where you need to be in the proper time and in the proper season of your life. With Him it will be as easy as abc, and simple. You have lost a little focus but He will by His Spirit bring you back to the very beginning of the original purpose of your call and He will also deal with the distractions one by one. Elsa, the truck represents a ministry of helps. White means purity and holiness. God is calling you to a greater degree of holiness. You have a call in your life to help others’ carry their load. The Lady represents the church or community of faith that has been part of your faith development in your personal relationship with Jesus. the number 50 represents a year of Jubilee, a time of celebration and rejoicing in the things of the Lord. It can also mean a generation. Note the Lady sells all that she has to follow Him, the message of “The Great Commission”. Also,the message that the Lord has for you to teach other’s especially to your sons generations and the body of Christ is when Christ calls His Beloved Bride, you are not only to sell all that you have to follow Him,you are to leave the former things behind that are not pleasing to God. How you live out this message will be a wonderful testimony for your son.

I dreamed that I took my car to a car wash that was designed like an ascending ramp. Just after paying the attendant and getting on the conveyor to start the wash process, I noticed that the track on the conveyor had derailed and somehow in my dream…I managed to pick up my car and place it safely on the ground before it fell.
Immediately after that dream, I dreamed that, I wanted to go back to that same car wash and I knew that the road to the car wash had a big pothole. On my way there, I planned to avoid the pothole but found myself driving right into it. Can anyone help me interpret this?
A few years ago the Lord led us to purchase a 4×4 off road pick-up truck. Which didn’t make sense because we were moving from the country to the city. I started having dreams about this pick-up crossing streams, and going up embankments, driving up to the ocean’s edge in it. Finally I asked the Lord, what is this all about? He said, “I am calling you to a place with many roads, to drive off the beaten path.” So there we were in our 4×4 off road pick up truck, looking like the Wyoming we came from, sitting in traffic jams.
Sometimes we made sense in our environment, like the time we pulled a stranded motorist out of a flooded mall parking lot, during a storm. Lol, But most of the time we were the odd ducks out in a land of many steeples … sometimes life is like a prophetic dream.
The story ends with us being blessed with a BMW, weird thing … it was about the time God called us out of the city and into the Smokey Mountains for fasting and prayer … this is true as God is my witness. Bless His Holy name. A car built for the Audubon (kingdom highway). And the first thing we do is go to the mountains. Lol!

This is what came to me as I read your post:
You are eager to move upward in the Spirit. You paid the graduation fee for your cap and gown, because you want to get to the next level.
You used your own strength to remove the threat of derailment—self preservation—instead of relying on the Holy Spirit to show Himself mighty when the derailment was before you.
Again, you wanted to move up and wear that cap and gown and go to that new level, but you hit that obstacle, even though you were determined it wouldn’t stop you.
On this journey there are many tests to pass, term papers to write and busy work that makes no sense sometimes. But you are moving from glory to glory. Satan is not going to stop you from reaching your destiny, but God Himself allows these obstructions to happen–to see how you will react.
You are in the maturing process. You will get to the next level in His time and His way.
He wants you to learn to trust Him by leaning not on your own understanding–but allowing Him to direct your path in His way.

I had a dream in which I was apparently going on a small trip by car with two other females. One was the driver who I had never met before. I never saw the other female. I started to get in the back seat on the left side (when looking from the rear of the car).But it seemed to be very important that the baggage I brought with me was hung on the appropriate handles or latches hanging on the inside of the car door on my side. The female driver pointed out politely where each type of luggage was to go. The driver also helped me find this arrival site by redirecting me when I appeared to get lost (I have no sense of direction.).
I had a dream, where I was driving down the road and saw a familar female Pastor walking. I asked her if she needed a ride and she accepted. She said she needed to get to church and would show me how to get there. She took me through somewhat of a maze. We ended up in like a public park and we got out the car and she asked me if I saw the church, which was across the street. It took me a few minutes to find the church, but I did. And in the dream she introduced me to her son, who invited me to play checkers, which I declined.
I recently had a dream that I was at a very important banquet. There were lot’s of people there of mixed nationalities. Everyone had brought a dish to pass and I was appalled at the kind of food that was brought because it was such an elegant banquet and the food should have been better. Suddenly a very important rich man appeared who was over the banquet and he was very upset at the food that was brought also. He shook his head in disgust then he turned and looked at me and said “Make sure you salt the food before you put it away.” I was in charge of cleaning up the mess and putting the food away. Everyone left and I began cleaning and putting the food away. I left the building and was driving down the road in a car that I haven’t owned in about 6 years. I was heading to this mans palace (like a mansion)when suddenly I remembered that I had forgotten to salt the food before I put it away. It was dark and late and I felt so totally exhausted from all the cleaning I had done that I felt that I just didn’t have the energy to go back and take the food back out to salt it so I made excuses that the man in charge of the banquet would understand how tired I was and then I thought of someone else I could call who would go and salt the food for me yet I felt terrible about not doing it. I arrived at the mans palace, put my pj’s on and collapsed into the bed. End of dream. Any thoughts anyone?
It would be great if anyone has any insight they would like to share into theses dreams for me while I anxiously wait for John Pauls continuation of vehicals in our dreams and some of there problems. I had two dreams recently with in a week of one another involving vehicals, excelerators, and friends I am close with and have been praying for many years.My first dream starts off with me sitting in a restaurant booth.The big kind like Pizza Hut.A man I know and his girl friend walk past my table.Next to one onother they walked into the men’s and ladies restrooms.The man then returned from the restroom noticing my table. Apearing friendly and eager to see me he approched. Followed shortly by the girl friend who approched the table showing no emotion towards at all.I then found myself driving a large black truck. I was excellerating forward as if I were leaving and it was dark out. I noticed a glance of the couple again from the resturant. However my intentions were to continue moving my vehical forward continuing right on past them.But insted my excellorator in the vehical stoped working.I took my foot and repetitively struck my excellorator but graduly came to a compleat stop directly positioned in front of the couple from the restaraunt.I then looked from the right front side window of the truck to see the couple sitting on a bench in this order the girl friend, the man, and now the man’s teen daughter joined them.I noticed the man’s one arm was around the girl friends neck and his body slightly turned towards her. As he took his other had he seemed to be raising and lowering her arms. She appeared lifeless. Eye’s closed,no facial movment, head tilted back as if she seemed asleep or dead.The daughter sat on the other side of her father facing forward looking straight ahead.
The second dream followed one week latter. Starting with a phone call from a friend requesting that I come to where he was emediatly. He didn’t ask for help , but he requested strongly for me to come which was a great distance away.I senced something must be urgent, or wrong.I then found myself to be in his girlfriends vehical which is a very nice silver cadillac.As I prepaired to leave and come as he had requested I noticed my foot did not reach the excelerator in this vehical. I tried and tried to reach it but it remained to far out of reach.Leaving me aunable to excellerate the vehical forward.
I have had a recurring dream for years. I am on a trip riding a bycicle. The trips i take are very far off places, usually other cites. I ride many miles, but in my dream it never seems to bother me or do I even think about it. I usally get lost,taking a wrong road or get turned around. I am looking at the map to find my way home. Never afraid just trying to figure it out. I always find my way home. What does this mean?
This is a recurring dream: I’m standing on the other side of a track. I see a parked Bentley. It’s like it’s waiting for me. The other dream, I see on the street a parked Rolls Royce. They are beautiful.
I dreamt I was in a plane high up above the earth looking out the plane window (size of window was bigger that norm size). Watching (panoramic view) the biggest hurricane I ever saw in my life (bigger than any I seen on tv). It was the shape of a spintop or an upside down hershey kiss. It was extremely wide, and dark grey and black mixed together and the pointer tip was touching earth. As I looked down to see the point of it, there were bright colourful beaming lights (like lazer beams moving really fast) between the earth and the bottom of the huricane. Colors: red, blue, yellow, maybe orange too. I was safe, secure and peaceful where I was sitting at – whether it was a plane or some other vehicle. I would describe the panoramic view at a very close up view, moving from the right around to the left of the huricane. This huricane looked all too real and very mean. This was just the first part to a 3-phase dream. I have asked the Lord where in the world did this huricane touch down at. At first I thought it was America, but I am still not sure because Sid Israel Roth was in the second phase of this dream. I did not see him in the dream but had thought or knowledge of him in the dream.
the 2nd phase of the dream was that I was in a ship. Big cruise like ship. This is where I had knowledge of Sid Roth being in the dream rather than seeing him physically. I remember being on the outside deck of the ship, all white, also remember seeing ppl watching tv in what I think must have been living quarters were but I didnt join them. Unfortunately I dont remember the conversation that took place. But remember a man said something very positive about me.
the 3rd phase of the dream was I was fiddling with a lamp. Fixing it, getting it to work or just putting it together right. It was a tall lampstand. But the weird thing about that was it was supposed to also be a curtain rod that you place at the top of a window. This so call lampstand did not look like your ordinary lampstand. It was bright orange all over with 2 bright orange circles on both sides of the lampstand stick and maybe a feet or 2 from each end of the stick. I finally got it working,(perhaps I thought it was satisfactory) raised it up over my head and stuck it on top of a window as if it were a curtain rod. When I did that the 2 circle bright lights started to grow steadily brighter & brighter & brighter. As I was admiring the light, I was thinking wow thats a really nice light! All the while my husband was standing there, an empty crib close to his left (he was facing me and the lamp/curtain rod). Before I started on the lampstand, I remember a fleeting thought after seeing the empty crib – “where is ‘my daughter’”?
Note: I have a 9mth baby son, and my daughter is 4, whom I meant in my question.
I had a dream of driving on a highway and I veered off to the left and drove over the side of the rode. I woke up. The dream was grey/black.
I dreamed of a young man I knew in the 70’s. He came into the house with fish he caught and everyone was admiring how he was the only one that caught fish that day. He was smiling and I could see that he had a gold on one of his front teeth.
Had a dream last night that I was trying to leave a school type building because there was a situation that I was uncomfortable with happening there. I got in to my car exactly the way it is in real life but it wouldn’t go anywhere at first. When I finally got it moving I had little to no control over the car. No brakes and I could not make it stop getting gas so I was speeding around in the parking lot trying to avoid things like other cars, driving into muddy fields, and the river so that the car would not get stuck. When I looked to my dashboard lights I think there were three of them (don’t remember the other 2) on the dash the one that was lit up as an indicator to what was wrong looked like a stone turreted house with a bridge attached to it. Next part of the dream I had my irl Dad with me and he was driving the car trying to fix the problem with it. I think that I have a pretty good idea about some of what the dream basics mean but some stuff is not clear. The dream was a lot longer and more detailed but the basic stuff that stuck with me is written here.
Had a dream on Sunday that I was in a plane crash, the wreckage was all around me, but I just unsnapped my seat belt and walked away from it – it was bizzare coz I was not scared or fearful it was like I have been walking out of plane crashes all my life. The next night I dreamed that I was driving my car, my husband was sitting beside me. I made a left turn on the road and as I turned the car it flipped on its side and skidded to a halt. My husband and myself got out of the wreckage without any injuries, neither were we scared. I just seemed a little surprised in the dream because I could not understand how the car flipped over on its side as I took the left turn. I woke up from both dreams calm and peaceful – there was no fear or terror. As a background, I am going to start a new job after spending the last 2 years at home growing learning from Dad the wonder of the Gospel and I am so ready to take the word into the workplace. I sure would appreciate it if you could give me an understanding of what my father is telling me – thanks and blessings

But today as a result of a recurring dream…I re-read your response and BAM…the revelation of your interpreation was opened up to me by the Holy Spirit and wow…this is exactly what it is. Ok, from what it looks like here. You are in the presence of two angels and they have been assigned to you to get you on the right road to your destiny. You being in the back seat and letting go of distractions and things that hold you back from going forward into your destiny is something that you have been struggling with from time to time. Because of your weakness God is going to make sure that you get to where you need to go because you asked and you have put your complete trust in Him.

I had a dream months ago that really disturbs me to this day. In the dream my husband & myself were in a car going down a straight road (the road looked very similar to the road I used to live on growing up.) In front of us was another car and we were following them, I don’t know who they were, but they were our friends, I was waving & smiling at them and they were waving & smiling back to us. Once of them might have been an angel — I don’t know, but he was tall, so tall that his head & upper body came out of the sunroof, he was facing us smiling and waving also.
All of a sudden our car started to turn to the right, at first I thought my husband was trying to find a quicker way to get to our destination before our friends did. But then I realized that we were not on a road at all, and ahead of us was a steel chain link fence that we were about to crash into. I looked down at my husband and he was sound asleep at the wheel. I screamed WAKE UP! And matter of fact I literally woke up screaming WAKE UP and woke my husband up at the same time! I would appreciate if anyone could give me some understanding of this dream — it has really troubled me and I can’t seem to forget it. Thank you so much. God Bless you, Mbdol
i had a dream last night that i was on this train, i cannot remember if i was a passenger or if i was actually driving it. It was going up a mountain-through valleys and through streams.. and then all of a sudden it went straight down hill – i felt like i was falling.
there was someone with me – but i could not make out who it was. i woke up pretty perplexed!!

I was watching this dream from up above and in front – In this dream I saw myself sitting in the middle of a road (dark blacktop w/ bold yellow dotted line) w/ light pink flowing clothing. I saw myself call my 4 yr. old son over with my arms outstretced. I watched myself from a distance as a gray sports car moved its way over small hills on this road and was coming right toward us. I saw that I was totally oblivious.

I dreamed – saw a vision before waking. I saw my boyfriends truck parked in the middle of a field in the mountains where he lives. The truck looked the same as usual(it’s white/seats 5). The field was a brass or ‘tan’ color. The sky above was gray.
