The Tabernacle and the Kingdom
“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
“And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables.” Mark 4:11
“He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.” Matt. 13:11
There have been many mysteries of the Tabernacle revealed as you have walk through it with me. There is actually so much mystery one cannot learn it in one lifetime. But, the portion you can absorb is wonderful and it will impact in your life beyond words. There are so many mysteries yet to learn.
Mysteries occur only when there is partial knowledge. Yes, that knowledge may be infinitesimally small, however it is still knowledge. If something is not known, there is no mystery because you don’t even know there is something you do not know.
Conversely, if you have full knowledge of something, there is no mystery because you know all there is to know. That being said, the Mystery of the Kingdom is all about increasing your current knowledge base of that Kingdom. The foundation of that knowledge base is the Tabernacle. I do not portend to have the ability to teach you all the mysteries, but I have been given some slivers of insight from Heaven and I desire to give them to you.
THE TABERNACLE WAS TAUGHT EARLY IN LIFE
All Hebrew young men had learned about the Tabernacle as children. Most of you did not have that opportunity - until now. Jesus spoke a remarkable truth to His disciples, that was woven with the understanding that these young men who stood before Him had the foundation of the Tabernacle. You now know this truth and so this truth is applicable to you, and it starts here in the Tabernacle … as the veil lifts from your eyes.
“And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’” Luke 8:10
Jesus was actually quoting the Prophet Isaiah (6:9-10) in the above passage. Until the Veil lifts, you cannot see, nor can you understand. Jesus was telling His disciples that the veil that had been over them concerning the Kingdom was lifting.
THREE VERY IMPORTANT MATTERS
There are three more things that I must quickly cover before you take what has been deposited into you on this Journey and invade the world. You see, there is one more Veil that must be lifted and that veil is the veil over your eyes. If it is not, as written in the Scripture verses at the beginning of this post, you will not see the Kingdom of Heaven active in your life. Remember only those who were serving in the Holy Place within the Sanctuary saw the Veil tear. More so, it was those who were in the Holy of Holies that felt the Veil tear. Many in the Church today still have veils over their eyes and do not see the greater issues of the Kingdom … even though that ability has been given to them. As C. S. Lewis said, “we are content to eat mud pies, when a great banquet has been spread before us.”
To see the deeper matters of the Kingdom you will have to walk into it with “seeing eyes.” The cost? … the three Dark Nights of - the Wilderness, - the soul, - and the Spirit. You will discover that though the cost seems great, the price is actually quite small for something that is truly priceless.
THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
From the beginning of this journey, some two and on half years ago, I hinted at and described the Tabernacle as being a replica or model of Heaven. It is the “City” that the Fathers of the Faith looked for in Hebrews 11. That City, is what the Tabernacle is modeled after, it is the “New Jerusalem.” And the Patriarchs’ were wise enough to know that the Garden of Eden and subsequently the Tabernacle foretold of it
“For he [Abraham] waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” Hebrews 11:10
“But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.” Hebrews 11:16
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,” Hebrews 12:22
“For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.” Hebrews 13:14
Yes, this entire Tabernacle is representative of the Kingdom of Heaven, but I want you to ponder this: why does Scripture seem to distinguish between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God? Let’s take that one step deeper. Why does Jesus refer to the Mystery of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Mystery of the Kingdom of God?
Many like George Eldon Ladd believed there was no difference - they were all interchangeable. But then the question must be asked why did Jesus choose to use the words He did, words that differentiated between the two?
SIGNIFICANCE OF WORDS
I am convinced that Jesus said nothing that was insignificant in meaning. I believe He chose His word carefully. If so, then the Tabernacle holds a great deal of insight into the facets of this Glorious Kingdom. A Kingdom whose message Jesus chose to begin His ministry. A Kingdom that He never stopped talking about, even to the point that just before He ascended to the Father, when He could have talked about thousands of things, Jesus chose to issue a mandate to His disciples to teach others all He had taught to them. What message was that - the message of the Kingdom. It is mentioned over 100 times in the New Testament, so it must be important.
THE JOURNEY
The Kingdom is all about matters of rule, reign, power and authority and soon we will make the transition to the subject of the glorious Kingdom. However, before we take that journey, the Tabernacle has a lot to teach us about the Kingdom. The Kingdom is a whole lot easier to understand if you can grasp the matters of the Tabernacle. That is why we started on that journey first.
Blessings,
John Paul Jackson

I am continuously encouraged and anticipating the course of these blogs! I feel the depth of God’s heart in them and I greatly appreciate your time and effort to post them.
For the furtherance of His Kingdom! JPatt
Thank you pastor Jackson…I want to know more
I am feeling so “full” from this blog, and somewhat bewildered that my head swirls from all there is to learn, and yet I am hungry for more.
Hey John Paul! Enjoyed listening to you this morning before class on Joni Lamb’s Tabletalk as you spoke on prophecy. Your story was amazing and hilarious. Can’t wait to glean on the Kingdom from you:)
Spent my time before my gracious HEAVENLY FATHER GOD and now I get to stay up late to watch John Paul talk with Joni Lamb on Daystar about prophecy and dreams and visions since I missed it earlier. Gearing up for his Understanding Dreams and Visions class in October. Ya’ll don’t want to miss this! Looks like John Paul is on all this week! WooHoo!
Nancy:)
John Paul,
For over a year I’ve had your two books, “I AM 365 Names of God” and “Inheriting the Fullness of God’s Names” sitting on one of my glass coffee tables.
Don’t laugh–but it is like they’ve been saying to me this week–”Pick us up!”
As I studied the artist’s depiction–it hit me that the dark room represented the dark nights of the wilderness–soul–and spirit)…
At some point –after moving through the night seasons–stumbling in the dark–hoping we are going in the right direction–we finally come to the supernatural open door. We see the heavenly light not produced by man–but shows the shekinah glory of God……..
We are being beckoned and wooed to cross over and discover I AM…………
HE is represented in the seven candles (the spirits of God) swimming in the anointing oil.
I realize He is wanting me to come to a fuller understanding of Who He is by learning His names and attributes. I have head knowledge–but He wants me to have heart knowledge.
As I come to know I Am deeper–He will start unlocking those mysteries of the Kingdom of God for me.
wow!!!
It was right in front of me all this time…
There is nothing like fresh revelation–even though it may not make sense to you.
I hope this will “send”–my computer has been acting up and this is the second time I’ve typed this out.
Y’all watch John Paul this week on the Joni show on Daystar TV. I picked it up on my computer. I enjoyed the prophetic discussions.
Love to all of you!!!
Linda
PS> Be listening for the shofar to blow this week in the spirit–ushering the new Hebraic year.
Greetings! I have watched you on Daystar. We appreciate the way the Lord has used you. Recently I had a dream I am able to understand it to a certain extent. But then I thought you may be able to spiritually let me know. In my dream my wife and I were looking at a tall huge Egyptian Sphinx. I was looking at the height of it and wondering how people could have worked on it. To my right I see tall rocks and some people trying to climb the rock for adventure sake. Within minutes the huge sphinx breaks into two halves and the upper half falls down to the ground right before us where we are standing with its face on the ground. As we watch that… the broken sphinx tries to wriggle itself up. And so I grab my wife’s hand and try to get away from that spot. At that time I look at my wife and see feathers growing on her. By then the dream was over. Can you write to me giving the spiritual meaning for I know that there is something in it. I should in no way miss on what God is telling us but be able to get in line with God in the spirit. We love you and God bless you.

I was looking through some Jewish New Year cards and found a card on Yahoo American Greeting e cards. I did not know how to send it to Coffee Talk comments, so I will write it out.
This card has the Book of Life in a field of grapevines:
“At the new year on Rosh Hashanah it is written–
On Yom Kippur it is sealed…
May it be written–may it be sealed that you have a new year that brings fulfillment and happiness
peace and prosperity
all of life’s very best things.”
I always get excited and a stirring in my spirit when the fall comes with the major holidays of Rosh Hashanah–Yom Kippur and Sukkot. I know that Jesus (Yeshua) is the fulfillment of these holidays. I eagerly await our Jewish brothers and sister recognizing Him in the days ahead.
Thank God that we have been grafted into Him and the Israel nation and are partakers of the blessings that come down from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Shalom Y’all and may God write and seal something profound in each of our lives during this time.
Love,
Linda
Inscribed and sealed for a new year! Happy Rosh Hashana!
We took our three boys to a Jewish Temple service this morning. Wanted to feel them blow the shofar over us on the first day to this new year. A great experience for us… but as I stared into the eyes of those I sat among, I was grieved. I imagined Jesus coming and pouring water over the faces of each one… faces so dry, that I imagined not even a drop of it would hit the ground.
The teachings here have intersected at such a perfect hour in my journey… I feel alive in my spirit, and the rest of me is waking up too… I might have over slept if I hadn’t collided at the right hour… thanks for sounding the alarm!
It may be called “coffee talk” but to me it’s a rich glass of cabernet…
Cheers, and Happy New Year!
Me and a Face Book friend, Caitlin Nanna of “Flood Gate Revival Ministries” did an internet radio show on Blog Talk Radio called, “Remembering 911 and Our Response To Peace”. We dedicated it to the memory of victims and families of 911. Enjoy :)……

Wanting to Interject something here. On the basis of the scripture that John Paul quoted:
“And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables.” Mark 4:11
I suppose this is why many dreams are interpreted from the metaphor. Or better yet its one of the reasons they are sent to us in metaphor. Of course we have the human pride issues as well but i’m seeing a decline in that area. Of maybe the one or two times I believe God has spoken to me pretty plainly I didn’t get prideful at all. Honestly if you have any good sense that makes for a very sobering experience and should be taken very seriously.
No i’ve never had a Moses experience with audible voice from God
I pray in God’s grace that he gives some Moses experiences. I know for a fact there are many of us who really need to see his face and hear his voice because I am one of them.
I do not believe this is any longer a “desire.” In a short time I believe this will be a requirement.

Wow… deep word Shaun (selah). I find it even more deep in light of Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets. The feast of Trumpets commemorates when the voice of God descended from Mt. Sinai with the sound of a trumpet and thunderings and lightening and a cloud(Exodus 19:16-20, Leviticus 23:23-25, Numbers 29:26). After this, Moses went up the mountain to speak with God(Exodus 19:20). Some believe this is a picture of the “catching away” of the saints or the “gathering together” as we will be caught in the air with Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
I know this is not what you meant, but I believe that what you said is verification that Jesus is coming soon and that we will all talk with him face to face. All of us who believe will soon have that Moses experience. So for those of you who haven’t heard His audible voice, don’t faint or feel discouraged. Just continue to listen to His heartbeat
And Shaun I do believe that Moses experiences besides the “catching away” are coming for the believers, too. I believe the time is coming where like Enoch, the believers will “walk with God”, hearing His audible voice and beholding His glory until like Enoch, we are caught away.
Who knows? Maybe what you spoke is prophetic for what God is doing in this New Year? Hmmm….
Y’all,
Let me tell you about a miracle that occurred last night.
At the last minute we decided to drive up (2 hrs.) to the Signs and Wonders Summit II in TN. It was a “glorified” meeting and all of us were glistening with gold from being in His Presence…
Earlier that day Mahesh Chavda said people needed to wake from comas. He declared a word, “Sleeping Beauty Awake!!!”
In this service one of the prophets saw the 5th floor of a hospital. A lady in the audience said she knew of a young man who was on the 5th floor of a hospital and had been in a coma three months. She asked if she could call the mother.
While they were getting hold of the mother, the Holy Spirit downloaded a beautiful anointed song about Sleeping Beauty to a woman in the audience and she sang it.
When they got a hold of the mother who was sitting next to her comatose son, they gave the cell phone to Jeff Jansen. He put the cell phone next to the microphone so we could all hear the conversation.
Jeff spoke to the mother and she said the doctors report wasn’t good, but she believed God. Jeff told her to put the cell phone next to her son’s ear. He told us in the audience that at the count of three we were to yell “Steven, sleeping beauty awake!!!”
In a very short period of time the
mother said that Steven turned and looked at her….
I don’t know what else followed in the hospital room—but needless to say all heaven broke out in the meeting!!! Hallelujah!!!
One of the prophets called out our street number and the name of the street we live on—We were brought up front and God’s prosperity was released over us.
Hallelujah!!!
Many things happened….
I kept thing of Emily, One of those, daughter. She isn’t in a coma, but she doesn’t communicate. Wouldn’t it be something if some word could be released over her and she recognizes the world and her family around her. I”m still praying for her miracle.
It always build us up when GOD moves!!! I just had to share this with you guys, to encourage you.
Love, Linda
Oops!
Linda
My husband reminded me the young man in the coma was Daniel–not Steven…Sorry about that…
