The Ark and the Mercy Seat
The first Ark, the Ark of Noah, was to save man and was made from wood covered by tar or pitch. But, it was inferior in-so-much-as it only saved eight people. It did not make a way to save mankind. A better Ark was coming. The second Ark, the Ark of the Tabernacle of Moses, is also made with wood but instead of being covered with pitch, it is covered with Gold. The wood that it is made from represents humanity or mankind. More specifically it prophetically represents Jesus the Messiah who came in the form of man and in doing so made himself of no Heavenly reputation. Wood is common, and the prophet Isaiah wrote that the beaten and crucified one would be common or uncomely.
COMMON AND UNCOMELY
Yet, as common as Jesus made Himself to be in the view of mankind, He was far from common in the view of Heaven. The wood of the wooden Ark covered with Gold depicts this reality - fully man and simultaneously fully God; two materials, two natures, in one person. It’s representation is prophetically clear - God was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:15-16) and there was found no sin in Him. The solid Gold Crown around the edge of the top of the Ark is the Crown of the only one worthy of having every knee bow and every tongue confess His lordship over all.
As you continue to gaze at the sight before you, you can still see details of the Ark. Looking through the brilliant white light you are still able to the drops of blood from the Lamb of God, blood Jesus shed. These drops of blood are the only reason you are not consumed as you stand here. It is by the blood of Jesus that your sin is given Mercy. In other words the blood allows the Mercy Seat to extend Mercy to you. Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy starts to take on new meaning and tears of gratitude course down your cheeks as you are touched by this personal reality.
ATMOSPHERE
In this atmosphere and in the presence of the “All Knowing” you remember this blood first prophetically emerged as being significant at the first Passover. Here, in the confines of slavery, the Angel of Death, judged the ten gods of Egypt, and passed over those Children of Israel who had applied the blood of the Lamb on the four sides of the doorposts of their house. In effect their house became their Ark for that night and it too foretold of the Ark you now stand before. Amazingly enough, the Ark in this tiny room foretells of the plan of God and the salvation of mankind. How intricate are the ways of God - the more we know, it seems we know less than we knew before we knew. Each level of new understanding unveils ten deeper levels we never knew were there.
NEW JERUSALEM
The blood sprinkled on this Ark allows the brightness of the Glory of God to become a visible manifestation above this seventh piece of furniture in the Tabernacle - the Mercy Seat. Because of the blood of the Lamb, God is now justified in making His presence known to man. It is still true today. The Mercy Seat is the only piece of furniture where the Glory of God dwelt in brightness or “self-radiant” light. It sits in this 10 cubit X 10 cubit X 10 cubit (1,000 square cubits) room. You might have noticed that this, the smallest of rooms in the Tabernacle, is “four square” and it prophetically represents the New Jerusalem that is to come where there is no need for the sun, for the Glory of God illuminates it and the Lamb of God is its light.
Thus there is no need for the Sun, nor for a Lampstand in this final Room of Mystery - God illumines it and the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world is there.

The posting actually gives me greater understanding and confirmation about a worship song I wrote over 5 years ago.
The song is about God drawing us into the Holy of Holies and that we have access by the blood that was shed on the Mercy Seat.
The Holy Spirit gave me the words to the song before I really knew what they meant in fullness. Crazy.
Great stuff.

JESUS would not have won the victory for us over the enemy and the curse that came from the 1st Adam’s sin had HE not lived and functioned as a “man”…
As a “man” HE developed and grew into that “communication” with DADDY GOD to only do those things that HE heard and saw DADDY GOD say and do…
That should spur us on–to learn to establish that same precious intimate relationship and spirit-to- spirit communication with DADDY GOD.
The man—JESUS shows us that it is possible!!!

Mary, the Mother of Jesus became the Ark of the [New] Covenant -she carried the Living Covenant within her womb - a very interesting Covenant - “fully man and simultaneously fully God; two materials, two natures, in one person” - and then her waters broke and the Word become Flesh [for us and our Salvation was revealed]…and He passed through the Blood and the Water[s] even in His Birth.

Two materials, two natures in one person ….my heart grieves with what i see and what i know by the supernatural, though at times i can not fully understand in the flesh and though at times this can be somewhat daunting i am also so grateful to be so blessed because of the grace of God. I really dont understand much i am becoming more amd more aware that we truly do not know anything for all we need to know is God and to truly believe and trust in him and not in ourselves and that is painful to let go , but oh the mystery of Him who loves us so .Need i say anymore, those who have ears listen to what the spirit is saying.

I have been praying for you and Streams Ministry. I have been listening to some old tapes and CD’s…In a lot of these you refer to the DFW area as a wilderness time in your life…
If this area is a wilderness—why did you move back to continue your ministry in that situation?
Is your ministry supposed to take off from here?
I want to pray blessings over you and your ministry and declare and help establish “new” things for y’all.
Is the past the past and you are creating something “new” or are you completing something from the past that was not finished.
If it is none of my business or the readers here, I

You have a nice day too Linda. I also had those same questions too. But in the spirit,lol. I always felt in my heart that the Lord wanted John Paul to finish the Pinnacle Mountain vision. Things would have progressed alot sooner, had he remained in New England. He may be testing the Holy Spirit, like most people do when they want to make sure that they heard from God on certain matters of the spirit. Sometimes you have to take 3 steps backwards to go 7 steps forward. I am with you on that one Linda. Let’s pray for God’s will for John Paul Jackson’s ministry. Maybe the Lord has called him back into the eye of the perfect storm to speak peace to it. Lot’s of things are happening on the Mexican/Texas border that are unpleasant. Yep, we definitely have to pray God’s complete and perfect will whatever that is be done in the life and ministry of John Paul and Streams Ministries and those he serves on earth as it is in heaven.

I just want to say,that early this morning in my kitchen when I was washing dishes, the Lord spoke to my heart and showed me Emily and He said to tell you that He has sent Emily to you from the Kingdom to make you into the Saint that He has called you too. I hope that this encourages you. The Lord often times speaks to me very clearly when I am washing dishes or doing some kind of house work as well as in my dreams. So be encouraged. Emily is one of His Generals from the Kingdom and placed here upon this earth for such a time as this. She carries within her being the gold, and oil of the Kingdom rich with the presence of God. I am getting an overwhelming sense that you needed to hear this now word today. God Bless You!

And a top of the evenin’ to you, Shirley! Sounds like you are being like Brother Lawrence–Practicing the Presence of God–while doing your dishes. Anytime you need extra practice—you can wash my dishes…
Two of our granddaughters spent the weekend with us. When I picked them up, their mother said she did not want them swimming in the river yet…
These two “imps” improvised…They put a sprinkler under the trampoline in our backyard. They spent hours jumping up and down getting drenched. Later that afternoon a neighbor invited them to swim in their pool so they were thrilled to get more water logged.
When I took them home this afternoon–their bodies were a bit “red”, but their smiles were broad and they could honestly say they didn’t swim in the river.
Sometimes we come across signs that say “No Swimming!”
Do we accept that–and take on a “religious” facade of obeying the law—or can we adults become like children and find alternative and creative ways to get saturated in the stream of the Spirit!?!

I am a worshiper! I love spending intimate moments with the Three-in-One (GOD, JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT…)
Earlier this evening my husband and I watched an old video from a time that Joseph Garlington was ministering at Brownsville in Pensacola…Someone recently loaned it to us.
He was ministering on the quantum effect of worship. He used a butterfly for example. When a little butterfly flaps his wings here—it effects something in the Amazon…
Joseph Garlington said we cannot begin to comprehend fully what the quantum effect results are by lifting our hands in worship and praise in the heavenly realm…
Over the years GOD has called me to stand in the gap for HIS purposes. Sometimes I know what I”m standing for– sometimes only GOD knows. HE has trained me to get in all sort of positions, do prophetic acts, etc.
I have been obedient but I felt I was doing this alone…
But it is like now after “hearing” that word, I am going to a new level when I worship HIM, because GOD HIMSELF is releasing something far greater than I can ever imagine and the ripples from it will go on and on and on…
This may be elementary to many of you—but it became “light” to me this evening.
As the song goes: “YOU are the Source of my strength.
YOU are the strength of my life. I lift my hands in total praise to YOU.”
