The Veil III
“Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Col. 1:12-14
BLOOD ATONEMENT
There is one more item that the High Priest would carry with him into the Holy of Holies, a container of blood which he would sprinkle on the Mercy Seat as he approached it. The blood acknowledged five things, first, that the shedding of blood before God was the focal point of atonement for sins. Second, it was an admission that someone else had to shed the blood for them and in so acknowledging the people understood they could not atone for their own sins. Third, the blood that was sprinkled made it possible for justice to be administered and judgment to be withheld. Fourth, it made it possible for unholy people to become intimate and commune with the Holy God. Finally, the sacrificial blood prophesied the coming of the Messiah who once and for all would make an everlasting atonement for all sin.
You do not have to sprinkle the blood, but you do have to appropriate the blood of Jesus to your life - which you have been doing at each piece of furniture - which was already sprinkled with that blood.
JESUS THE GOLDEN CENSOR OF INTERCESSION
The Golden Censor you now have in your hands will carry the Prayers you have prayed into the next room. In fact, that smoke has already preceded you. It penetrates the very fiber of the thickest of fabrics, even the Veil that is before you. The Hebrew Historian, Josephus, wrote that the Veil of the Tabernacle of Moses was the equivalent of being four inches thick and that a team of horses could not pull the Veil apart.
PRAYER FOR YOU, PRECEDES YOU
As a reminder, the fact that prayer preceded you into the Holy of Holies is metaphoric of Jesus preceding you into Heaven and continually interceding there for you. Thus, prayer , for you in the Holy of Holies, is already present before you bring your prayers for others there. In fact, it is Jesus who is about to open the Veil for you, just as in the giving of His life, the Father tore the Veil in the Temple from the top to the bottom.
GOD’S SPECIAL PRESENCE
With the coming of the Tabernacle of Moses, God’s special presence was no longer in the Garden of Eden, it was in the Tabernacle itself. God’s presence in the next Room of Mystery returns to mankind all that Humans had before sin entered the world through them. In this room, the Holy of Holies, the presence of God is thick again, just as it was intended to be in the beginning - only then, before sin, there was no worry about the consequences of sin in a persons life.
The Veil was one piece of Fabric, and the Cherubim woven into the Veil more than likely match the Cherubim woven into the fabric above you and reaching out beyond the Golden walls on either side of you.
The Cloud of smoke in which you are standing and breathing represents both the Glory of God’s presence and acts as a protecting covering around you. Finally, it represent the Holy Spirit of the living God and as you breath it in, it begins the process of preparing you for what you are about to encounter. Now you are ready …
LIVING LIGHT
Suddenly, there is light, not just any light, but brilliant, thick, light oozing out from under the Veil in front of you. The light seems to be alive, as if it were living and wanting to touch you. Looking down at your feet, the encroaching Light mingles with the swirl of the smoke and your feet seem to be immersed in the clouds of Heaven. Your feet tingle a bit as the living Light moves around your ankles and passes over the arches of your barren feet. Even now, time seems to be fading, and you have begun to hear a sound coming from beyond the Veil as if a fire was raging just feet away from you and you wonder why there is no heat.
With this Light, the “Dark Night of the Soul” has come to an end, and you will discover eternity in ways that at this moment is unfathomable. Your agendas have dissolved and fallen away - the only thought you now have is to do the will of the Father, the agenda of God.
The Veil begins to slowly lift, and your heart is pounding so hard that your chest hurts - yet you are grateful, because in this “other worldly” environment, it is the one thing that lets you know you are still alive. The sound is becoming deafening, the living Light is already so bright your eyes find it difficult to look at it, and you can hardly breathe …. .
Blessings,
John Paul

John Paul,
I don’t comment on blogs to often, but this blog was particularly encouraging to me. When I read, “Now you are ready…”, a sanctified confidence surged into my spirit. It brought to mind the reality of God’s hand in my life. He is the one who’s preparing me for my heavenly encounters. He has placed me here in this place. I even declare that because of provision of grace to enter in I will enjoy God in glorious new ways. John Paul, thanks for such an encourging blog!

I love what you wrote, about two years ago I had a pair of socks appear under a few envelopes of mail that I was holding, stunned of course I pondered for weeks what it meant. I knew the socks had great significant of course sense they just appeared.
One day I was reading a Christian article and within the writing I saw the words “Knock your socks off” for months it seemed to be the word, after reading the post about the light hitting the feet first, I then read another article soon after that read “Knock your socks off”
I really believe God loves a good treasure hunt.
Wow this was great.I’m ready for.. His presence. The thrill of being in and part of His Glorious Light.Beyond the veil,Like stepping out naked alone under a microscope,all is revealed, nothing hidden. Truth^ righteousness is his Merciful loving Light. I want more of His wonderful light to permeate every fiber of my being,more of Him, more of knowing,being with & learning about Him. Praise our Glorious,Awesome Lord God Almighty, please write some more soon because I need a another glimpse of heaven,as just thinking about it brightens life while here on this sometimes dirty dark Earth. Thanks JP.
“Your agendas have dissolved and fallen away - the only thought you now have is to do the will of the Father, the agenda of God.” Amen…
its seems like jesus is taken advantage
Wow! What can I say? I hunger for this!
I can’t thank you enough for this blog. I have followed along since March this year. It is amazing how this has lined up in my life with exactly what God is doing. We are ending a major transition in our lives that has been the most difficult season since we began walking with the Lord in March of 2002. I have surrendered to the Lord and the call after many years of fighting through fear. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord. May He continually bless you and use you.
John Paul,
Whew!!! Now we are ready to enter… That’s a load off everyone!!!
Jesus goes before us— paying such a heavy price and He presents us to the Father…Can we actually become one with Him and the Father? We’ll be caught up and surrounded by smoke. Can’t wait to read what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you for us!
I have your CD called the Mystery of Movement and you talk about an experience you had with all these sounds and colors and movement going on around you in heaven. Are you hinting that we will experience this in some degree in the Holy of Holies? That is exciting to think about—if it doesn’t blow us away.
I know your DreamLoggR has been birthed and you will be wanting to see it grow. Will you still keep Coffee Talk Blog going? I know we are not finished on this journey and I speak for a lot who hope God will let you take us on another journey—or continue this journey in new ways. Eternity is eternity……..
May our “eyes” adjust to heaven’s light,
Linda
Dear John Paul & Et.Al:
I have not been writing as much within the last couple of weeks due to the fact that I have been under the weather and resting as much as I can in between my paid job and the outreach that we are doing. However, I have been reading the entries and it has been a source of comfort and has gotten me through some tough situations in my everyday interactions with people.
I just want you all to know that I appreciate all the time and sacrifice that it took for you John Paul to go before the Lord, pray on our behalf and put the pen to the paper in all that has been entrusted to you in the middle of your commitments to family and ministry in order that we may be fed proper food in God’s divine timing. I know that you don’t like too many accolades all at once, and so I’ll try to keep it brief (lol, wink, wink)here on “Coffee Talk”. There have been many times that I have come to this blog first thing in the morning with sleep still in my eyes, sometimes a tear or two, other times with complete joy and laughter and an overwhelming sense of God’s Love for mankind, and still other times with uncertainty, thinking to myself, what next God, can it get any better than this. Can I live up to what John Paul is writing in this Coffee Blog. This has been a retreat and a place of refuge and a challenge to me when man’s other resources no matter how good weren’t enough. This somehow has filled the void of intimacy with God and man in the secret place. Without making an idle of the Blog, this has often times been a light house to me. A place where I can entrust myself to the Lord in order that He may continue to chart the course for the rest of my life. Thanks for being God’s special beacon of light and hope in this world of darkness. I know that you yourself do not like all of these accolades at once because than you have to live up to them (lol, smile, :), but this season and week of remembrance of past victories and future successes through the dreams and visions that the Lord has dreamt through everyone of His servants since before the foundations of the earth were laid cannot pass me by without saying thank you and Happy Thanksgiving. I will continually remember and keep you, your family and ministry in my prayers that God continually Bless you with divine inspiration and protection from heaven as you continue to write heavens manuscript for the earth on this blog and beyond.
In His Love,

Hi John Paul:
The Lord is saying that the tapping of your right index finger during the praise and worship session at Metro West Church in August was the beginning of a new beat in the spirit that He has released in you. There is a mountain of revelation that He wants to give you through this particular drum beat from heaven. Don’t resist this. This will be for the intensity of the warfare that lies ahead. This revelation can only be released through the taps of the drum and not the bible, ooooh, lol - Watch the appointed intercessor for this season, she is a prophetic witness to this fact. She is one of the Lord’s drum beats.
In His Blood,
Shirley C.

Hi JP,
“ditto” to what Shirley said. This has been a place of refuge for me. Thank you.
Is. 51:4 …My light will become a light to the nations.
vs. 11 The ransomed of the Lord will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them.
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Back in January 1, 1973 I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I left a traditional church and started singing “off the wall” songs and songs straight from the Bible…
Psalms 100 was one of the Bible songs I learned–it is a good psalm to sing about thanksgiving to the Lord.
I know many of you who read this blog don’t celebrate our traditional day of thanksgiving, but it is always good to thank God for who He is and what He has done for us. Hallelujah!!!
“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands. Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.”
Singing and shouting thanksgiving to HIM,
Linda

This afternoon I was at a family gathering on my husband’s side. He has a little great nephew, Lucas,
that is eight months old and he is blind.
As I looked at Lucas and held him, I felt so inadequate.
Jesus was beaten 39 times–and by His stripes we are healed. How do we get to the place that His healing power is released when we pray and touch people? How do we get to that place that our shadow brings healing to those we simply encounter–because we have been in His Presence?
How do we become supernaturally natural? We don’t make a scene or draw attention to ourselves—but Jesus is so real inside of us that His virtue flows out and touches the people around us.
It is easy to get puffed up and think we are someone in Christ—but yet we can’t even step aside and allow Him to work through us.
I want to get to that place where that He can trust me with that apostolic power to have signs and wonders following me. Not to be known by man, but to be known by God…I want to experience and see the greater works.
Compassion and mercy arise in me,
Linda <3
I have been reading in the Gospel of Luke, (searching for clues) and this verse jumped out at me.
Jesus said; “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Therefore, take heed how you hear” -Luke 8:17
“The Sower runs on his way; knowing that the harvest may come before the bloom”
When I think of the Holy of Holies, I picture 2 candlesticks. When I read of the making of the candlesticks, I wondered how long it took to complete them.
Linda, in my humble opinion and limited perspective may I offer an answer to your question. Ask God to take you there but be willing to give up everything for Him. Ask Him to take you to the place where those a shadow’s distance away are healed but be willing to lose site of even the desire for that power. Be willing…consider your request…then ask will full intention of continuing to the end “no matter what.” Consider soberly. It just might cost more than you bargained.

i find sometimes walking maybe thru a mall that if I am quiet and pray, exciting god things happen.
Just as Peter shadow healed many, maybe my quiet presents, which sometimes makes me naucious, will do the same.
One of Those:
Thank you for your words of encouragement!!! We need each other.
I opened my Bible and my eyes fell to the place about the ten lepers and it said “And one of them when he saw that he had been healed,returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks.” Luke17:15-16
One of Those, you are like “one of them” in these verses. You are important to Him and He knows your heart’s desire. I snuck over and read your web page so I could get an update on your precious,Emily.
I read your journal writing for November 23 and I knew exactly what you were saying. Remember that scripture that says that if you leave family, friends, houses, lands,etc. for Christ’s sake you shall receive 100 fold–with persecutions–and eternal life. It is a “challenge” issued to us and are we willing to pay that price…..
I sense you are at a crossroads with handing over and relinquishing your most precious treasure to Daddy God. I know it is not easy, and this is much more costly than ointment. I will be keeping you in my prayers that you will have assurance in your heart and perfect peace. You can trust Him for the outcome!!!
One of those, you are making a difference!!!
Love,
Linda
Have you ever looked at sand and seen very small sparkles of light? His church is starting to sparkle very slightly, but it’s there. If you look close enough and long enough you’ll start to see the Kindom of heaven in her.

May HIS anointing always be on you to further THE KINGDOM.
I’m still with you, JPJ. I usually print off everything and chew on it during my quiet time. And ditto to what Shirley said. I will never take this for granted !!! Love you all.

the end of something with jesus always is the beginning with the father.
this is confusing things ?
Linda, your words touched me deeply. Thanks, and keep walking.
I thought I would just let you know the miracle of that last entry I wrote on my daughter’s site. The moment I hit the send button after typing it all out, the mailman was knocking on my door. He was delivering a check that more than covered the situation I wrote about. He confirmed to me that we really do need to lay down what we trust more than Him. He will be there for us sometimes in ways we could never imagine. It is the same, I think, in these seemingly unanswerable situations of suffering we encounter in life. The baby who lies limp and lifeless in our arms or the 75 year old man battling cancer…all leaving questions in our minds of healing and God’s character.
I believe our trust of His ways to answer prayers and deal with us will somehow, unimaginably result in good. We can’t begin to place ourselves in the Biblical Joseph’s shoes or what it felt like to have everything ripped from him multiple times because we know the end of the story. Jesus knows the end of our story and He knows what it feels like today. This is because He is a High Priest who can sympathize with our experience because He also has suffered. He is not a God who does not understand. He has experienced it and can now help those in need. He has entered into the most holy place before us and can lead us in.
LOL can you tell I’m working on a paper for a passage in Hebrews? I better stop before I get carried away.
Not sure how I found this blog but it is awesome! Still going thru’ hard places, I often remind myself Jesus said ‘that unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains alone’ as an explanation of what is happening- dying to self so I can be fruitful. I have hung on to this for years.
What I have learned here is so much reassuring detail from the scripture which shows me that I am not alone in this experience, its not unusual for Christians to go thru’ it, its not just random-it has meaning and there are stages which have purpose and design.
I was really knocked out reading somewhere how the poles of the tabernacle had silver sockets on the ground- silver a picture of redemption- God coming down into the dirt, where I, created from dirt, live to bring his awesome holiness. His Holy of Holies rested on the ground! Jesus-God clothed himself in a body made from the dirt- the divine truly got involved in our earthy-ness He truly comes to meet us where we are and wants us to share in heaven-here!
Thanks for this John Paul and you other contributors who are so honest, for putting some landmarks in a bewildering landscape, giving meaning to the apparently pointless frustrations and limitations I keep coming up against.
May God bless you all. I feel he has weighty treasures set apart for you perservering ones.
Thanks
Still learning to surrender to Him

WOW WHEN YOU THINK ITS ALL OVER AND YOU SURRENDER YOURSELF TOUGH THOUGH IT IS THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL PAINFUL DEVASTSTATING BUT ITS ALL ABOUT HIM
John Paul:
While you were on a 3 day hunt for deer, I kept meditating on this blog and living the life within the sphere of my life, especially about the part as the veil is being lifted. As this veil is lifting I find that the things of the earth are growing strangely dim. My speech and thought patterns are slowly lifting and shifting to be more like His thoughts in anticipation to beholding the light of His Glory as the veil is slowly lifting. With tears in my eyes this very day and through the eyes of broken humanity, this questions seems to forever echo and resonate throughout my entire being, question: ” Which is worse words that wound the soul and spirit of a man or a weapon that kills or wounds the flesh”. I think that as a meditation in advent and as the veil is beginning to lift slowly, the Lord is calling us to ponder on this question, because we are accountable to the very thoughts we think and the very words that we speak about any person, place, or thing.

This is Michael’s wife. He has been following this site faithfully but is in deep trouble right now — both mentally and spiritually. Could this group please lift him up in prayer. We are desperate. Thank you.
Dear Unknown,
I will pray for Michael and I know the others that are friends on this blog will pray for the two of you.
Remember whatever has happened—GOD was not surprised.
HE knows Michael inside and out. There is an answer and a solution and I pray our REDEEMER–JESUS– will show HIS redeeming power to the both of you.
“I waited patiently for the LORD; and HE inclined to me, and heard my cry.
HE also brought me up out of a horrible pit. Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.
HE has put a new song in my mouth–Praise to our GOD; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD.” –Psalm 40:1-3
GOD is bigger than the horrible pit and the miry clay
and HE can make the outcome a thing of praise if you surrender to HIM and trust HIM to take you through!!!
You and Michael are not alone in this.
Love,
Linda
I’ve been out of town and did not have a computer available. I just knew when I got back this evening that there would be a new post out, but alas it is not out yet. (sigh!)—-:)
I was down in Auburn, AL and as we were leaving town today there was a quaint little shop in a house called:
“Coffee Talk” shop and it was a wifi place. I was driving and on the wrong side of the road or I would have stopped to get my photo made by the sign.:)
I was at a state high school swim competition. There was a young male student who did not have legs from his knees down—yet he was participating on a team
relay competition in the pool. It is amazing how some people are able to arise above their “inadequacies” and challenge those of us who are “whole” to go for the gold and not make excuses…
Looking forward to the next release for this blog! (hint! hint!)
Linda
Dear Michael’s wife, our prayers for you and Michael along with all your household even that which concerns your heart.
“Our Father in Heaven,Hallowed be Your Name,Your Kingdom come,Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors.And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory Forever. Amen.” HE is our Eternal Faithful One!
The Lord is truly faithful. It amazes me how He takes us each on our own journey, but somehow, we see similarities in our journeys and paths, and we seem to walk parallel to each other. He designs our individual paths with such care and concern, that we will be able to relate to each other, to give and receive encouragement from one another. What an awesome God we serve. I wanted to share the words to the first song I ever wrote…almost ten years ago… in hopes it may encourage someone on His path…
THE JOURNEY
I’m on a journey to a place I’ve never been
Lord, I need You close to me
Once I’ve been there I will never be the same
I will be changed eternally
I’m on a journey to the center of my soul
This place is hard for me to see
There are spots that are so dark and are so cold
There’s pain and hurt inside of me
(CHORUS)
No hesitating, Lord, I give it all to You
I’m tired of holding on to me
Empty out my heart so You can make it new
Mold me, shape me, transform me
Take me by the hand, Father as I go
I’ll wait for You to lead the way
‘Cause though the journey won’t be easy, I know
The destination’s pure as gold.
(CHORUS)
No hesitating, Lord, I give it all the You
I’m tired of holding on to me
Empty out my heart so You can make it new
Mold me, shape me, transform me
Mold me, shape me, transform me
Another poem for encouragement… I did not write it… but it encourages me to continue the work of the Lord, both internally and externally, because lives are at stake. Blessings to all!
(May this poem encourage you…)
I said, “Let me walk in the field”;
God said, “No, walk in the town”;
I said, “There are no flowers there”;
He said, “No flowers, but a crown.”
I said, “But the sky is black, there is nothing but noise and din”;
But He wept as He sent me back,
“There is more,” He said, “there is sin.”
I said, “But the air is thick, and smog is veiling the sun”;
He answered, “Yet souls are sick, and your work is yet undone.”
I said, “I will miss the light, and friends will miss me, they say”;
He answered me, “Choose tonight, if I am to miss you, or they.”
I pleaded for time to be given;
He said, “Is it hard to decide? It will not seem hard in Heaven
to have followed the steps of your Guide.”
I cast one look at the field, then set my face to the town;
He said, “My child, do you yield? Will you leave the flowers for
the crown?”
Then into His hand went mine, and into my heart came He;
And I walk in a light Divine, the path I had feared to see.

Abiding in HIM
Job’s Confession (one of my favorites)
1 Then Job answered the LORD and said,
2 “I know that You can do all things,
And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
3 ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
“Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.”
4 ‘Hear, now, and I will speak;
I will ask You, and You instruct me.’
5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear;
But now my eye sees You;
6 Therefore I retract,
And I repent in dust and ashes.”
