You - the Tabernacle of God
“He who is Joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him.”
I Corinthians 6:17
People came to the tabernacle because they knew this was the one place on Earth where they could experience God. Oh sure, God would speak or appear to the Prophets once in a while, but hardly ever to the masses - except at the Tabernacle. That is why the Sanctuary is called the “Tent of Meeting.” Though God met with the Priest in those mysterious covered rooms the people could feel His presence even in the Outercourt.
Here is a sobering thought … you are the Tabernacle and those who come near you will experience God through you. That Tabernacle is being formed as you stand here in front of the Lampstand. In fact it has been forming from the moment you walked through the first curtained entrance. As you have journeyed through this spiritually charged atmosphere, each piece of furniture you encounter is actually being formed in you. Formed so you can be a tabernacle to others - a place where they can see and meet God. This is precisely what the Apostle Paul wrote so often about. No you are not God, but they can see and feel Him through you.
The transformation you are going through is the progression from a container of Soul and Spirit, to a Tabernacle of God. Can those who know you attest to seeing the Tabernacle as a reality? Or do they still see the “container?” Do they know there is a God because they feel His presence when they come near you and they see God’s presence when they look at you? … This is possible you know.
Perhaps this is all you need to think about from this post.
Blessings,
John Paul

Thank-you for the reminder
My wife and I have been reading this blog for about a couple of weeks now. So we’ve been playing “catch-up”, starting from the beginning until now. We have both been tremendously blessed and to a further degree, set free by the truth written here, but to be honest, we (at least I haven’t) read very many responses. What I would like to say is this: both my wife and I have come out of a life of pursuing “spirituality” in one aspect or another. Some of which even use the “name of Christ” or “Holy Spirit”. But all the “look-a-likes” and variants only served to “muddy the waters” so to speak. God is light and there is NO variableness or shadow of turning in Him. And I thank Him for sending His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord and displaying His unchanging love and mercy. Jesus, you truly are the Bread of Life and there is no other. By the power of God’s holiness you were raised from the dead on the third day and because of that, I have hope. God, in our (humanities) bankruptcy, you became a man and redeemed us out of our plight of despair. Thank you!
This thought indeed is sobering: “you are the Tabernacle and those who come near you will experience God through you.” God, the most stunning and gorgeous person in the universe wanting to abide in us! oh that we may not take His Light in us lightly!
Father, help us to get real with you. May we allow you to apply the elements of the tabernacle to our lives. May we grow to delight in your being in us. Come remove spots, stains and speckles and most importantly things we are living in denial of.
Thanks JPJ!
Happy Palm Sunday! Today on the Lord’s Day, and after reading this particular blog entry on “You” The Tabernacle of God” both my husband and I began our hospital ministry at the New England Sinai Hospital, a Jewish Hospital with patients that are predominantly baptized believers of the christian faith, namely Catholic. They specialize in acute respiratory care cases in this particular hospital.
We became part of the pastoral team today that distributes communion.
Prior to the communion ministry at the hospital, this blog entry has helped me with the reality that I am the tabernacle of the most high God and that Jesus truly resides in me, because the Kingdom of God is within me and that this was realized more fully in my heart during the breaking of the bread, in the distribution of communion and while we prayed with each individual. It was a different experience as we went from room to room with Jesus due to the condition of each person’s heart. Some wanted to and were ready to receive Jesus and others were happy with just receive Jesus through prayer.
Jesus’s healing love and divine character was recognized in the breaking of the bread, to both myself and the patient that received Jesus in Holy Communion. One could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit after the reception of the Jesus through commnunion. It was an awesome experience, what a privilege it was to be a part of this pastoral team today on palm Sunday. I think we found what we were looking for regarding outreach ministry and I know that there is more to come. We don’t want to limit God and how He wants to use us.
Wouldn’t it be something for the Lord to allow the Pastoral Care Department to hold healing services once a month for all patients in one of those conference rooms at the hospital, no matter what background the patients are coming from?
At this same hospital, there is going to be a Good Friday Service, I am praying that we can assist with that service.
The place that they are having the service is unusual because part of the chapel is a Jewish Synagogue which has the Tabernacle for the Tenach and right next to the tabernacle is the Tabernacle that houses the commmunion (Eucharist or consecrated hosts for the Catholic’s), God is up to something at this hospital and the funny thing about it is it is in our home town, and we don’t have to go far (lol). God is so good, He is moving through the affairs of man to have His way made known. I love this blog and the people here including you John Paul. Keep it coming Holy Spirit and please continue to pray for us in this new ministry that the Lord has called us to.
Blessings to You Always!

Housing the God of all creation!! Of all the places He could have built for himself to dwell, He has chosen us. Thanks John Paul
Matthew
Literally
1 Corinthians6:19(NIV)”Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;”
That is profound yet it has been taught in churches for years. Many people do not understand unless it is explained.
Sincerely,
Shaun Brehm
One interesting thing to note. When the temple is dedicated God answers by fire! (2 Cronicles 6&7)

Yes, we are indeed true Tabernacles of Presence because of the reality of God’s indwelling of the Spirit. Having revelation of this truth changed my life! God is not just with me he is within me! Thanks again John Paul for the encouragements!
Dear JP,
a sage by the name of Maimonides in the 12th century came up with 5 steps to making atonement (kaparah) = to demonstrate contrition. The Shofar is blown every day to remind the people to repent and to prepare to face their enemy.
“A wiping away” is necessary to restore relationships (Mehilah). We must ask for forgiveness (Selihah) as an earnest and active request. True repentence is needed - teshuvah!
Yea, I’m using some big words i learned, but i still feel we need to do some foot work in this Holy Work of God. In the book maimonides wrote on page 207 you will find the 5 steps. These are just suggestions of showing obedience to Christ which have been given to consider.i value your opinion! little sis
To my wonderful father ,i want to thank you and praise you all the days of my life, if it wasnt for Jesus i rally dont know how i would have ended up. Even now it can be so difficult because i am wanting to live a rightous life and so i have to die to my sin old way of life every day. Though you have given me eyes to see with now and ears to hear with there are so few who know your way Lord i am praying the peole will truly know you , because you are such an amazing and awsome God, i thank you for the word , which is the living word of Jesus, there is absolutly no other way goodness knows it has been so hard , tough and difficult for me , but by your grace, nothing to do with me for i would have ran off many many times but you allowed it that i had nowhere to go, gee i am so glad i always want my own way, being the selfish person i am but because you love me so much i just had to keep turning to you, set aside you said , separated from others you said , though goodness knows noone could see that , they saw me , not what you were doing , yes it was tough ,but it was a two way , i can now see that no one recognised what you were doing , least of all would anyone suspect you would choose a nobody , which is what i am , but i know you love a somebody , that is me, wow,all glory to to .in the beginning was the word and the word was with God , it took me a long time to understand lord , i even rejected you, that broke my heart , i know doubt it broke yours too, i mean how can any one love like you. No one , that i have experienced, who could love those who have been so rejected . you take them for yourselves, brake us and restore us , my God , My Jesus , dearest holy spirit how can i ever thank you,i can not , but i know i am loved , “turn this world around Lord for your glory , let your name be exalted , for this world is deprived of your love “.Forgive us Jesus , but help us to gloryify your beautiful holy name, we are just ordinary poor and needy people in desparate need of a father .This may seem gloom , even sad, but when you are walking it is often a real experience , change is never easy it is painful , we are no longer of this world , when we truly understand that …….we see and hear .Those who have ears let them hear, those who have eyes ,let them see, often it is sad and painful what we see, but we have such love because he first loved us, let us see where He brought us out of , this womb of the world in darkness ,corruption, evil , lies , pain , but then who am i , a nobody thank goodness , yea thank goodness i know and understand this, but a sombody God loves , He loves us all, but its painful and yet oh what delights await us, thanks JP YOU KNOW ME .
It seems that many struggle with self worth on so many levels. There is intelligence based worth or success based worth or monetary self worth or…the list could go on and on. People are facing job loss, monetary loss, and many other types of losses these days in greater numbers. I suspect many are having their self worth shaken.
If we would only fully realize that we are the very dwelling place of God our self worth would be transformed. How can you think you are a failure or a reject when you are the very container for God? The God who designed a quark and a trillion galaxies desires to hang out with you? Wow, making a few more thousand a year and living in that better house really is pretty silly in comparison. Does it really matter if one more person thinks your important or not?
Goodness, the rat race of success, money, and prestige pale in comparison to the simple delight of God thinking your a great place to be!
“John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Kepha and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”
May we continue on this journey in HIS love and endure until the end….Blessings to each of you, the beloved, Psalm 91.
In an earlier remark is stated how my wife and I came out the “mix” of “psuedo-spiritual” pursuits. We met and were married in the Skagit Valley. Skagit in the Skagit tongue means “Valley of Spirits”. Indeed. May the Lord bless us with a new name, more akin to the valley of the Holy Spirit. For because of his (Jesus’) mighty faithfulness and love for our Father in heaven, even to the agonizing death on the cross, the Comforter who is the Holy Spirit and Spirit of Truth is sent to us, all of us, to lead us to Life, to Light, who is Jesus.
I spent almost 30 years of my life as a timber faller. We most usually “single-jack”, but sometimes work in “sets”. Very independant and isolated personalities. Yet I have learned that when I am drawing closer to God, and am perhaps changing into His image, my hard heart melts like wax, the tears flow, and I yearn for the fellowship of true believers whose fellowship is with the Father and His Son through the Holy Spirit. I crave the company of other believers. My love for people grows more.
It takes great courage to come out of darkness into the Light, but all the power of Heaven is on the side of those who will. For those who will are given the power and authority to become his sons and daughters just by saying “YES” to Him-Jesus.
Jesus I thank you that your yoke is easy and your burden is light. I thank you for Holy Spirit who helps us learn of you. God you came and tabernacled with us in the man Jesus, and now we are the living stones you are using to build up the tabernacle of God. Your flesh was ripped and torn, and by those stripes we are healed…the broken and brokenness of humanity finds wholeness only in you Jesus. Thank you Jesus, You are an awesome God.
John,
I enjoy reading your blog. The presence of the Lord floods my screen as I read over your thoughts. I just was wondering could you please speak on transference of spirits. Both Good and Bad. I am having the worst time with this one. And have not found many able to speak on the subject. I really need His truth on the subject.
Hi John Paul,
In my quiet time, the Lord spoke about the tabernacle and I’m excited to know that I carry His presence.
I found out about your site via a workshop I attended in San Carlos, CA last year; it was listed in resource section and the instructor recommended your ministry to learn more about interpreting dreams. I just received my Dream Cards yesterday!
One last thing … I shared with the youth group your testimony about the hand coming out of the sky in the midst of your accident. They have new awe!
Thanks,
Latifah
This blog has been so helpful in how I do and perceive ministry as coming from the throne. And I encourage John Paul Jackson to keep it coming as it is flowing from heaven because it is having an impact in the Body of Christ. This is a season of “The Restoration of All Things”. One of the other ministries that I am also drinking from is Kim Clements School of the Prophets. He has an online school that started this week, it goes for 8 weeks with a new class each Monday. It is only $100. I think that he is still accepting applications. It’s definitely an eye opener too like this blog. What I would suggest if you can afford it, is to keep up with John Paul’s Blog and do this online school of ministry. I guarantee you in the Holy Ghost you will never be the same and you will not look and do ministry in the same manner. Have a blessed day, everyone.

The Bride is from the Beloved. Yet to be “one”, it means for her to be transform into a “beautiful” Bride.
Such beauty which gets praised from the Song of Solomon, the Shulamite by the Beloved is attained by the Bride. She becomes from ugly duckling to beautiful swan.
Thus so she pleases her Bridegroom Beloved well.
Yet she comes out of the wilderness ‘leaning on her beloved’ by acknowledging the ‘through, by, for and in’ of Christ thus in all things leaning on Christ to the glory of God.
When this is achieved, it won’t be just the Holy Spirit living in her but the Father and Jesus comes to make their abode in her thus she attains the highest from of tabernacle. Do not be deceived, Jesus will not make His house in all believers except those who really love Him. Sadhu spent 11 years of persevering prayer to attain this level of tabernacle. This is not about a visit but an abode.
This video is for those of us who are called to discipleship. I suppose it is a wake up call. The question in this video is:
“What are we going to do with Jesus? This nameless faceless person, sums it up in less than 5 minutes (lol)! much to think about and chew on during this week being Holy Week!

Enjoy!

I like others here are honored God would choose us to reside in so his presence could be carried and people can feel him. Then be carriers themselves I know this is a transition we all like to be in control and to not be in control is hard on the self(flesh) but when I read this it helped me to understand what is going on a little bit better and to allow(surrender) to my Father. I don’t know about you all but no matter what be honest, avaiable, in love with God be holy as he is holy and let’s set the CAPTIVES FREE in Jesus name.
Hi John Paul!
This was the only way I foundout to get in touth with you. I am a intern in Streams Canada and I just want to say that the ledership teaching you taught in Vancouver 3 weeks ago was awesome! You are a really good teacher!
I just listened to “Preparing for your Visitation” and the part whit stronghold was right on! Thanks!
Just wanted you to know that!
God bless!
Wow. Imagine if enough people actually caught this revelation, we would never have to deal with crap-o-la religion ever again.
i love this.
Big thoughts John
My head hurts
Shirley, Great video! Thanx
I journal in prayer with the Lord alot and recently all he said that nite was “His Heart is the tabernacle for his souls”. I was looking for some dream info & so when I saw this site I thought I would share. Blessings
I wonder if once we dislodge ourselves from the serpents lie: “you shall be as gods”, and return to the simplicity that was intended, of fellowship with God through His Son, beholding his face as through a glass or mirror by His Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord and being changed into that same image, from glory to glory by His Spirit, if in fact being a tabernacle of God would be the end result. Yes, I think The Word of God testifies to this. So as the Master says, if we will deny ourself daily, pick up our cross and follow Him (Jesus), we can be “learners” of Him…and learn to bind that stong man who sitsin our hearts sanctuary calling himself god. Jesus says we are known by our fruits. He also says he will forgive us as much as it takes to get there. When that man of sin who sits in the seat of our hearts is finally reckoned dead with Jesus upon His cross in the “Place of the Skull” (Golgotha), the yes, I believe God’s original intent for us will be realized, for we are called to be His tabernacle (house).
HI Everyone,
As the Prophet has taught us, the kingdom of God is within us. I looked inside the Tabernacle and was taken to the Holiest of Holies. There I met the Priest, Prophet, and King, Jesus. He shared with me about the certain rich man and a beggar named Lazarus. The rich man had a feast every day. Lazarus was laid by the gate of the rich man. He didn’t move, being a crippled beggar desiring the crumbs from the rich man’s table. Unless someone carried him, he did not move. Moreover, the dogs would come and lick his ground sores.
It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. Lazarus never even got a funeral.
In hell, the rich man looked up and saw Lazarus in Abraham’s bosom and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus with a cool drip of water.” The Prophet and King, Jesus showed me that this rich man actually knew the beggar’s name and that he could have sent lunch to him every day. But he hid himself from his own flesh. He knew he was outside the gate and did nothing about it. And he needed Salvation! A couple of crumbs would have done a great deal. It would have satisfied the longing that Lazarus had and would also have provided mercy for the rich man after he died. All of a sudden, Lazarus is very important to him. Even begs Abraham to send him to his brothers he is so important.
Is there any you know of in need that we know by name who need Mercy? If we don’t show it, it will not be shown to us. And the Prophet also added “sell that you have and give to the poor and you shall have treasures in heaven. Then come, and follow me!”
Thanks to the Prophet, more Light is given! Count the Cost! “Take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Forsake all! Love not your life unto death! Sell all that you have (not all that you need)! He who has two coats, give to the one who has none. This is not a game! The Lord God is not a candy store! Give All or give nothing! No man can serve two masters. You cannot serve faith and fear. You cannot serve dark and light. All that live by the sword will perish by the sword (you fight to save your life and you will lose it, lose your! All or nothing!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table in the presence of my enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOR EVER.
PREPARE EVERY VESSEL THAT FLOATS, WE ARE AT WAR!
PREPARE FOR WAR, AND WEAR YOUR COAT MORE!
Oops! I almost forgot! Don’t forget to have FUN!!! singing and dancing your hearts out. And mostly laughing and having fun. Cause Jesus is all that!
As the Prophet said, ” We need to stop blaming.”
1 Tim. 2:14 And Adam was not deceived. But the woman being deceived, was in the transgression. She did not willingly do this on her own, and Adam was not deceived, so why did he do what he did if he was not deceived. Adam was made in the image of God. He was just like him. He willingly went into darkness to be with his Bride! His Love for his Bride compelled him!
God said that in sorrow Adam would toil. He did need to be sorry and God knew that. And so told him that he would be sorry. Jesus, being the last Adam, was exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death. In the garden, Adam gave it up. In the garden, Jesus was sorry. But just that we fully understand it wasn’t until after the death of our Lord would man know anything of what Love is. For God soooooo loved the world, that he gave his only beloved Son. We love God because he first loved us.
the Lord showed me this when reading Ezekiel for the first time…Ezekiel 43:12″This is the law of the house: its entire area on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.” …since we are the temple of God, everywhere we go…wherever we set our foot becomes holy ground…we have access to change the entire atmosphere in a room.
At one time I felt a desperation for God to move in my life and now I feel this desperation to see God move for others. And there are times that I have this deep longing just to see God come and touch others to the point that I am moved to tears. And yet, this is not for me or about me. But, I know what God can do and I just want to see others experience it. Lord, would you come and touch those that are in desperate need and take away their pain.
In response to Shaun,
Arise, shine, for your light has come. And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Neh.8:9,10 …This day is holy unto the Lord your god; mourn not, nor weep. for all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. then he said unto them, go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
John Paul,
Wow. I have been reading all your posts to catch up to where you are currently. They have been a blessing to me. They are helping me understand visions I have had and where I am spiritually. I am still not sure, frankly, where I am…but I believe I am in the Holy Place still.
Moving from being a container to being the very presence of God (while not being God, I understand)is an incredible insight for me to ponder. That is my prayer, that I carry the very Kingdom with me, the very presence of God, for others.
Blessings to you.
