Priesthood and Seven Branches
“The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.”

As I previously mentioned, it was the Voice of God that spoke the Flames on the Lampstand into existence. From His “One” voice seven flames were ignited. On the day of Pentecost, about 120 flames were ignited. So we see that it is, “The voice of the Lord” that divides the flames of fire.
In the Old Testament, only the priests could stand where you are standing now. Yet, here you are before the Lampstand in the Holy haze of the first Room of Mystery. Slowly, almost imperceptibly, you are being transformed from common man to priest. In the Old Testament, the priest took the animals and fowl given to them by the people and sacrificed them. The blood of those animals atoned for sin in the individuals.
PREPARED FOR PRIESTHOOD
Standing here you are in the final stages of being prepared to do the daily priestly offering, which is to daily offer yourself as a living sacrifice for God’s purpose in creating you. Jesus has shed the blood – now you are offering you. Keep in mind that a more pure atmosphere than the one you are standing in can only be found in Heaven and that purity is invading you, body, soul and spirit. It is establishing rays of hope in your Dark Night.
BONDING WITH GOD
The light is examining you, the cracks are being sealed and polished. As you are submitting yourself to God, you are being given His Spirit. Deep is calling to deep as the deepest part of God is preparing the deepest part of you. The Spirit of the Living God is preparing your spirit to bond to Him. In that bonding, you are becoming the “Light of the World,” a Lampstand – you are becoming radiant light, just as Jesus said.
SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD
Once all the cracks are sealed and polished, the filling of Oil begins. There are seven branches to the Lampstand, seven areas in your life that must now be filled with Oil. Those seven branches represent the Seven Facets of the Spirit of God (Revelation 4). Each branch is only as useful as the quantity of Oil that fills them. The Prophet Isaiah wrote of the Seven Spirits the Messiah would have (Isaiah 11). The Messiah was pictured as being full of the Oil of the Spirit. Those seven Spirits are:
- Spirit of the LORD
- Spirit of wisdom
- Spirit of understanding
- Spirit of counsel
- Spirit of might
- Spirit of knowledge
- Spirit of the fear of the LORD
THE RESULTS
Jesus, being the Messiah, and as such the light of the world, is the Lampstand. Jesus spoke of His ministry in respect to the seven branches being filled with Oil when He quoted Isaiah. Herein are seven results of the seven branches being filled. Can you find them? I’ll give you a hint; “Anointed” means being filled with oil.
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
The Spirit of God through Jesus the Messiah must be upon you. Simply put, the oil in you must be full and soon ignited for you to do what Jesus did and greater because He goes to the Father praying for you to become all you were created to be. When ignition happens, the above will be seen in your life.
You have a lot to look forward to as a Child of God, and this is just the beginning.

There is something that God has been showing me about myself recently and the healing has not been completed as of yet. But, I heard him say that is time to take down the wall of self-protection. Because, for so many years I thought that if I could just keep everybody at a distance, that I would safe. I didn’t think that I could endure any more pain than what I had already faced in my life. I had developed a mistrust because of the betrayal that I had experienced from people that I allowed to be close to me. Sometimes, you want to be understood by others and most of the time other people cannot see beyond how you appear on the outside. So, I have spent most of my time clinging onto God, because I know that he understands me and he knows my heart. I was recently ministering to a very wounded person. But, this person is very different from me and a type that many people would have a hard time dealing with. All I did was simply tell them about God’s love towards them and how he wanted to have a relationship with them. I can’t say that this person has made a decision for salvation at this point, but I know that there was something that God was doing in their Spirit, because I could see that they were receiving what I was saying. So, as God brings healing to me, I must then minister to the brokenhearted and the misunderstood. So many are looking for answers and have not yet experienced God’s love.

This is getting pretty deep. What stands out for me in this blog post is this verse:

John Paul, I find it fascinating how the Kingdom of God is within us, and the Holy Spirit is within us, working thru us, in the person of Jesus in unity with the Holy Spirit and in the Love of the Father.
I never gave it much thought of the nature of this hypostatic union of the trinity until I came to this blog and until I read “The Shack”, each with a distinctive nature and purpose of igniting the lamp stand within our spirit and with all this potential dunamis power lying dormant, it is a wonder and even a miracle that we don’t all blow up or better yet self destruct. Just a little side humor (lol).
But seriously it seems to make perfect sense to be totally infused in the completeness of the fire of “His Love” when one gets ignited by the lamp stand which is Jesus in the dark night, simply because we need it, cause its dark. I believe that along with what you wrote, the Love of Our Heavenly Father is the key that turns the ignition, that causes the spark from Jesus, who is light to ignite our spirits.
Because, the God who created us is “Perfect Love”, Love in power and Love in Glory, the fullness of Love casting out all fear, and God is Love acting through the person of Jesus because they are one and the same - “You see Jesus, you’ve seen the Father”. So, when you have this Holy “Love” fueled by the light of the lamp stand and once it gets ignited, it releases the Kingdom of God within us in power and great
Glory… “only to come upon us”, as we step out in faith and move in the power of the Holy Spirit towards vessels that are weak, broken, and unloved and who need the light and the oil that we contain empowered by the Love of the Father….
“His Love” is so powerful, its like a magnet drawing us to the brokenhearted, drawing us to Himself. We just have to get out of the way and let Him do whatever it takes within us to make this a reality in our spirtual lives. The hard part is letting Him do it through the Holy Spirit. I guess that is where stillness comes in…..whoa! Thank-you for the eye opener..John Paul.

I have not yet fully absorbed this post yet but am excited to share that I’m finally beginning to understand some things. Yes, I’ve known things with my head for years but some things are becoming a part of who I am instead of a fact filed in the library of my brain. I feel I am truly walking through this description of the temple with you and I hadn’t even realized I was on this path. I am called to be in relationship with God…to go beyond the veil. I am anticipating this place of fellowship like I have never known before.
Like you’ve said, ‘just keep going…don’t quit.’
As a child, I also built walls to keep myself protected. 4 walls. Then I saw that i knew nothing of construction, and left out building a door. So I was trapped inside. Always on the defence. It was dark inside my cubicle and lonely too! I had pain,and the pain developed to a palsy. After a time Jesus showed me that I also did not build a ceiling. Therefore my help had to come from above! I just love OUR LORD because he heard my cry and delivered me from all my fears! Just as the fellow in Matthew 9:2 I was sick of the palsy! I had had enough! Great is our LORD and Greatly to be Praised! There is not one thing he does not know!He taught me how to war! I would take my pain captive and make it serve me, and why not? He is more then a Conqueror,full of power and might,with Glorious Majesty,KING Of all KINGS! Awesome and full of Beauty and Wonder! Let us all put on strength! No more defence but offence going forward, fearing nothing but God alone! Hell will tremble at a marching soldier, fully set on taking the land! The timing of this post is perfect. Yesterday morning finished reading everything from the beginning of this blog in January 2008 until now. What great teaching, so necessary to understand. I am looking forward to reading the book you are writing. I thank God for the gift He has given you. Thank you for taking these deep truths and mysteries of God and helping us understand and apply them to our lives. I know the pain of a childhood of abuse and abandonment. The Lord has set me free from so much. Now the process of renewing the mind and transformation is so important.

Wendy, I read your post and the way that I lit the flame was to praise the Lord. I read Psalm 148 out loud. It was a beautiful psalm about all of creation singing the praise of the Most High God. I’m just learning how to be friends with Jesus so to loosen up I lit a lamp and turned on the radio. I saw my shadow. Then I started enjoying the fingers that Jesus made in my shadow. And then I got more comfortable with the Lord and I jiggled my shoulder in the shadow. then I put the lamp behind me and I saw my shape from the back. It was cool. a little while I played tunes on the radio. Then I took a walk. And then I did what I heard the Lord say. It was easy.

Hah! I just made an interesting discovery. I was born exactly 360 days after JP’s visitation in 1980. Maybe that is why things always obey a circular pattern in my life. I.E. 360 degree’s in a circle.
Unfortunately its allways “after the fact” like Lazarus.
For example I was dissmissed from a career unjustly. Exactly 1 year to the day I was let go, I found out the person who fired me was himself dismissed. Feb 15, 2008 to Feb 15, 2009.
This is a reoccuring pattern in my life that I find totally irritating.

The whole circular pattern is still factual info though.
I remember the last major encounter (at least in my view) with God. It brought about instance repentance and felt litterally like someone was shining a hot light on me. The peace I felt was overwhelming like soaking in warm oil. Unfortunately that was in 2003 and i’m waiting for justice against the enemy that broke my peace.

I used to like talking about the light of the Lord. Everywhere I went I talked about him. In elevators, at bus stops, I talked about him alot. Then one day a prophetess asked me a question. she said, Richard? Which is greater? Talking about Jesus, or talking to Him.
I feel like I’m in a play too. And I get to play Ester cause I tell a Good story!
To thrive in spiritual matters, and especially faith we need to be simple minded, for the less we know something, the easier to have faith. Because we are not God, but humans, we don’t know anything at all as it is. Our relationship with God hinges on a lot of ignorance to thrive as He desires. The less i know, the more faith i have, the closer i walk with God, the more i align with God. “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
There was a time, when I lived a lie- I sat in the corner of my room. Filled with sadness, filled with gloom. And then, He came along,

Would you know when your prayers are hindered?
Would you know when your praise is unaccepted?
Would you know He sees a thousand silver coins in your fruit?
Would you know He sees beauty of another kind in the Bride? Her eyes, nose, thighs, etc…
Would you know what whether you are doing is the will of God?
Would you know truth?
Would you know yourself?
Would you know He sees sinfulness as so gross?
Etc…
Therefore i reckon, just be simple with God for if one should examine everything, what will he know? In fact he would still be in the dark. If He accepts you, good, if He doesn’t, good.

but how do i become full of His Spirit?
i hd rear and heared that it is much how much you do for him;silent time, reeding bible,speaking in tongues,pray and praise Him.so it looks that it is hard working and payed.
and it isn’t for everyone is it?the small way.
i am afraid to get excited and long for more of the Holy Spirit but get disappointed .?
i like to make people glad and deep reliefed;i like to make things beautifull.But isn’t it dangerous to like that too much? Does than an thorne come to get you down.

Thank you Lord for sealing the cracks within the soul of my inner man. Our team just got back from a wonderful night of worship at the New London Bridge Church, in New Hampshire this past Saturday Night. Is anyone familiar with the fellowship, it was in a highschool auditorium. It was great once we found the place (lol). Josh Young was leading worship.
The Lord uses Josh Young very powerfully in worship, what a yielded vessel of the Lord’s perfected work in him. Well anyway this whole week, something began to shift within my spirit prior to going, I believe the Lord has brought me deeper into himself. I started smelling the Holy Smoke, infact I am still smelling, it…again within my nostrils. I am smelling it right now, it is more like chicory. This use to happen more frequently at the end of a night of intense worship, where we enter into the Holy Place. But now it just seems to linger with me day in and day out. I am not a cigarette smoker, nor have I been. But anyway’s it does seem to increase in intensity during worship and it sure did that night. My husband was getting the wine smell. He kept smelling wine throughout the whole night that we were there. In fact the presence of the Lord was so powerful, when the stillness came, I used that time to bring all my grown children to Him in the spirit. I spoke their names in His presence in my inner man. WhenI got home that night, my oldest son who is still at home, he’s 27, (lol), he does work (lol) comes into my studio office and felt compelled to tell me his experience when he went out with his friends. Usually when they do go out h may have one or two drinks for socialibility purposes,(noticed my raised eyebrows, ummmmm!) but for some reason, he said that night he didn’t want to have a thing to do with alcohol, in fact it turned his stomach to even consider it and then I in turn told my eldest son that we went to a very powerful worship service that evening in New Hampshire and when the Lord’s presence fell, thats when I offered the names of each family member that was not present with me, his name was on the top of the list, because he is my oldest. The Lord is doing a very powerful work here through the teachings of John Paul Jackson here on this blog and for some reason it seems to be corresponding to how the Holy Spirit is moving through the worship at the Bridge Church in New London. Lord, I thank you for the open heavens over the New London Bridge Church and this Blog.

One by himself will not be filled, since we are a body we MUST wait on the LORD to bring US together, At that TIME The BODY will Suddenly be Filled. If there is no patience with one that is Filled with the fire of Jesus you will only have a fire with no patience! Let patience have her perfect work that you may be perfect wanting Nothing! While we wait, we run with patience!

All I want to say is that I thank God for you and for the wisdom and understanding you have poured out to help us see clearly what it really means. When I see you I see a simple man of God you are not dressed up or anything but you are full of God’s presence and I appreciate your blog and for being a blessing in my life. I thank the Holy Spirit for because you plant seeds and I am the type I need my mind stimulated and with God that’s the norm so when I read I am expecting some meat from you and I just love you for being so obedient and wanting to see the body of Christ grow you are impacting so many just on this blog alone. I love you I really mean it I have grown in walking with the Lord and this blogs coincides with my walk and I just love how it matches up with what you are describing we go through but you give us more info on the different things we don’t know to look at or take time to notice because we are just reaching and seeking. Our King is not in a circle! He made the circle. His glory is all around us not only in church! its good to know you Shirley!
Jp, or anyone, can you please tell me where it says in the bible that before the great tribulation, the church will be taken out of here? because I read what Jesus said in Matt. 24, Mark.13, and Luke 21., and I only see that Jesus comes back after the Tribulation! Somebody, help me Please?

If you will look inot God’s word in Gen 24, Abrahan sends his servant to find a WIFE for Isaac.
which does happen, this account in prophetic terms is as Jesus finds His Bride. There is no word on a war, tribulation to this Bride, but the fact She accepted the MAN and He accepte HER. Read.
There is a container in the temple holy place that contains “2000 thousand baths” of water.
Breaking down the temple in its three parts to represent the journey of salvation and cleansing, perhaps the 2000 baths represents 2000 years of waiting after Jesus’s sacrifice for the rending of the heavens at Jesus’s return. When Jesus died the viel of the temple was rent Matthew 27:51. Many saints rose from the dead at that time.
This looks like Jesus could be back in about 30 years or so. No one knows the day or hour… but maybe we could get pretty close!
Also the priest in the Old Testement went forward with the Ark of the Covenant 2000 cubits in front of the rest of Israel when the river parted crossing them over into the promised land. I’m waiting to see if two firebreathing prophets show up and i’m going to go hang out with them. (Revelation 11:5)
I’d kinda like to see firebreathing preachers. People would take them a bit more seriously.

All I read is that after this great trial thats coming then Jesus comes in the clouds, and we which are alive and remain will be caught up to meet him in the air. I been over it and over it, there is nothing about taking us before. It only says, Immediately After!Could jesus be lying? Apparently it is the test of all test. Some of us will be Killed! there is a lot to look forward to for the true believers!
Freedom - You wrote about this in the March E-letter. In May of 2000 I began a one year Sabbatical, during that time, one of the main themes I returned to, again and again was - FREEDOM. I asked myself the question, “What does it really mean to live in true freedom?” It was during this sabbatical year that I began to get a glimpse of true-freedom. Recently I saw this poster that said, in big letters – FREEDOM to BE – FREEDOM to BELIEVE – FREEDOM to BECOME! The scripture reference, G5:1
It was then that I made the decision, that I would do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get completely FREE from ALL controlling forces. I discovered that this CONTROL spirit can manifest itself in many different ways and its tentacles reached deep into many areas of my life. The irony is, once I began to get free from one form of control, there would be an immediate back-lash, resulting in multiple-control-scenarios emerging in my life - all at the same time. At this point, I began to realize that it was going to take much longer to get FREE from all of these controlling forces.
The real problem I discovered was, once controlling people come to the realization they are losing their grip on your life. They re-double their efforts, covertly devising new forms of control, resorting to tactics that have heretofore not been de-ploy-ed. Several years into the struggle I had to re-group and set a long-term goal, charting my course towards my ultimate destination, FREEDOM from all forms of control - a daunting challenge indeed!
This same ‘spirit of control’ that operated in antiquity, through Pharaoh, is still at work in the world today. Although it has transformed itself into something entirely different and now functions primarily, under the guise of ‘religion’ – causing people to walk in ‘lock-step’ to its tyrannical influence and ultimate goal of total control. Non-the-less, there is still a cry arising from the hearts of those who’re enslaved – saved and un-saved alike – a cry for freedom!
Looking back I discovered that it was in January 2008 that I finally broke free, from all forms of control. Once I did, I was like a man who had just been released from prison. Spending all of my time and energy, trying to get free from all the control, I neglected to spend time learning about the true-nature of freedom and my life ended up going in a direction that I had not anticipated.
I’ve been spending a lot of time lately – absorbing the Light - and I got this revelation, just the other day, when I thought I heard Him say - “FREEDOM is the POWER to do what is right.” I had never quite thought about it like that, but I’ve been thinking about it and I know that this is TRUE (John 8:32). We can only ‘do what is right’ when we’re FREE to CHOOSE, (i.e. no longer stuck in OLD “toe-the-line” mind-sets) to ‘do what is right?’ Then, this FREEDOM that comes from being in relationship with Jesus - IS the POWER to ‘do what is right!’ As the Holy Spirit enables us to overcome and empowers us to righteousness - Galatians Chapter 5.
Having a “toe-the-line” mind-set, that was/is based on religious/control protocols, lacks the power to help me ‘to do what is right!’ All I ever learned from this mind-set were the religious principles of sin-management, (i.e. try not to do anything stupid, foolish or sinful). Following this trail eventually leads back to this whole theme of - the moment of choice - “we make our choice and then our choice makes us.”
This CHOICE determines if we are to continue to live in the realm of our SOUL - gritting our teeth, trying to overcome sin (lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life) through our Will-Power or make the shift and begin to live in the realm of the SPIRIT - where God’s Spirit enables us to overcome and at the same time empowers us to righteousness.
This then is where we begin to experience the kind of FREEDOM - born out of relationship - which God intended for us to live in from the very beginning. Although lost in the Garden, it’s been restored to us through Jesus’ finished work on the Cross. Following this “path” leads us into the current place that we’re at (Psalm 16:11; 23:3; 25:10). Connecting the dots: Yes, I have “regained something that I lost”, but it’s much more that. I found something that I’ve been looking for - for a very long time.
A Mighty Deliverer has arisen! As a faithful High Priest, HE has the power to declare over our lives – yours and mine – that we are FREE! Free, from the power and influence of this, spirit of control! “He who the Son sets FREE, is FREE indeed!”
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Jesus mentioned in Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
Also in Romans 8:2 “Because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”
Romans 8:9 “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.”
Total freedom from control would technically be “lawlessnes” which is not a good christian thing. BUT if we want to be free from death we must be controlled by God through the Holy Spirit.
Self control is also a form of control but it exists as a fruit of the spirit. I pray to be controlled completely by the Holy Spirit because 2 Corinthians 3:17 says “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

hi, if anyone reads this and can relate please tell me, i dont know why i am just reaching out for help, i am full of confusion, have become lukewarm, i know how it happened but i dont know how it happened. I took a big step in my life i went to school in africa in 2007, it was hard i have wanted to live for God for a long time, the school moved to america in late 2008 for school to start in 2009, I am the kind of person that has to have God confirm things for me several times before i believe ok this is God, so i went Because he told me to, I had no money and God opened a door, a family said i could live with them for free, help take care of the kids,have use of cars to get to school,etc, been here 2 months, now the family is moving out of state, and i have been in a horrible place spiritually for a month have become lukewarm, dont feel like i can talk to anyone, and am wondering is God closing the door b/c i have not been a good steward, but didnt he know what i would do, this is ministry school and a ministry i am apart of that is sold out and serious about God, i have wanted for a long time to live for God, this seems like the farthest place from where i should be spiritually, i dont even know how to get back on track, repent i know, but i dont know how, im so tired of having the problems i have and them not leaving tho ive prayed for 2 years for them to leave what am i doing wrong, my problem is i am full of pride,envy,horrible aweful stuff,what do i do?please help, i dont know what to do or what is going on, how did this happen?

The bonding with the deep part of God with our spirits was most interesting.Wendy Alec in “The journal of the unknown prophet” advises The Father stirs from on high and sends His Spirit to us to cry out Abba,Father Daddy and I say Papa. When this happens the Father hears and Himself stands and stirs Himself and begins to show Himself in compassion and tender mercies so His church might know Him. I can’t pray long in tongues without the Spirit praying with my spirit “Abba,Papa”. This becomes very strong and yearning.I can stop and start over and over and again -same results. Any one else experiencing this?

I want to edit something I had mentioned in my previous comment. I would like to correct an illustration of the three items that were placed in the secret place, under the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant. The previous illustration I mentioned was not right. Jesus is the Way (Aaron’s Rod [Isaiah 11] that budded = 7 spirits of God [Rev 4:5], the Truth (the Rock = 10 commandments & Testimony of Jesus [Isaiah 8:16, 20]) and the Life (hidden manna [Rev 2:17] = Holy Covenant). Accept my sincerest apology if I caused any confusion from my previous illustration of the three items in the Ark. I still have many things to learn and Jehovah is helping me.

I’d like to comment to Kim that says he/she has become like warm.
Sometimes it seems we have hidden expectations and when they don’t happen, we may believe we missed God or that (in our foolish hearts) God why didn’t You help me, or whatever our complaint may be. Things may seem lukewarm, but God wants to bring you to a place that you are walking by faith, not feelings. I myself came to this place of feeling so very cold, angry & in such despair. But I made the determination that I would speak out loud….I may go down, but I will go down praising and worshipping & believing God is real, that God does care & He does love me…Then a spiritual breakthrough came. God revealed to me what was actually happening to me at these times. And He has never left me, but I had to push past these “demons of lies” Of course there is a book to this story, but bottom line is:
Don’t give up….feeelings are not always real, but the spoken determined declairation to follow God will lead you through….You don’t have to feel the warm fuzzies for love to operate in your heart….
