Preparing to Enter the Rooms of Mystery
In preparation to walk through the curtain and into the first room of Mystery, the Holy Place, you will first have two issues that will have to be settled. Each seems easy to do, but in actuality they are quite difficult to live. We humans are so caught up in our own capabilities and self-sufficiency that the thought of being incapable of something seems noble, but hardly acceptable. However, the truth is that those thoughts do not make us more able, but less.
THE FIVE PILLARS
The First step you must face before going into the Holy Place is that you have to pass through the five Golden Pillars. Up to this point you have not seen Gold, it is not used anywhere in the Court yard. Each Gold covered pillar you are looking at represents the Holy, Pure nature of God and you will see a lot of Gold in the rooms ahead as the holy nature of God is abundant. Each Pillar is 10 Cubits tall (fifteen feet) but, more importantly, they represent the five facets of God’s Grace, which are Patience, Humility, Equality, Favor, and Kindness. Believe it or not, you do not possess the fullness of these five facets at this time, even if you think you do. It is by His grace that you can enter here and not be killed. What you got away with in the Outer Court will get you killed in the Holy Place.
You will learn the finite nature of each of the five facets or pillars before you change rooms again. I might add, that the learning of these facets of Grace do not constitute the consistent application of them – that will take the rest of your life. But, for now your desire to come closer is good enough and once inside that desire goes a long way in aiding the speed of the maturation process in your journey. To enter this room, there is just enough room for one person to walk between any of the Pillars. But, before you do there is first a screen or curtain that you have to lift to enter the Holy Place. This is the second of the two matters that you must settle before you can enter.
THE SCREEN TO THE HOLY PLACE
The first curtain you have already passed through was actually the curtain to the Tabernacle and the Outer Court. The second curtain, the one you face now is to the Holy Place and is actually called the “screen.” It is made of fine linen as is the inlaid Cherubim covering of the Sanctuary and the curtain to the Tabernacle itself. In fact, all three entry tapestries are made from hand woven, fine linen, and designed with the same four colors: Blue Scarlet, Purple and White.
These four colors of each door remind us that Jesus is the “Door” and we can only enter through the prophetic testimony of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, the authority of Jesus, and the righteousness of Jesus. No entry into Heaven would be possible without those four elements – none of which we have earned or have any capability of achieving.
The covering of the third door to the Holy of Holies is called the “Veil” and I’ll write about it in a later post.
If there is any design in the “Screen” it is not given in Scripture. Many believe there was woven some sort of design that portrayed heavenly, spiritual, beings flying or orbiting around, guarding the third Heaven and interacting with us. Others feel the “all seeing eye” of God was woven into the screen. Perhaps all of the above was woven there, we do not know. But, we do know this that all mysteries are unlocked in Him.
As you stand there, ready to walk in, you cannot help but be reminded once again of all Jesus did is in reconciling us to the Father and preparing the way for us to have unbroken communion with Him.
And now you can lift the screen and take a step into an atmosphere and a sight you shall never forget.

The patient (me) was in critical condition and had to be rushed into triage where the Surgeon (using a sharp double-edged sWord) performed and emergency surgery. My Doctor said that there might be a slight bit of brain damage because the patient (me) went into cardiac arrest during surgery and that part of your ‘Mind’ that controls your legs might take a while to return to normal but in the mean time he said that, walking might be a little difficult.
Walking! I protested, I can’t even move with this full body cast on. He said; that will soon come off, but then you ‘Will’ have to go through some psychological therapy and hopefully when your mind is renewed, (through the washing of the water of the Word) your ability to walk will improve, but you might end up having a permanent limp; (meaning: you will not pass through this time of transition without it leaving an indelible mark on your life, that will not only be noticeable to you, but others as well).
So, I called my Counselor and He reminded me of something He said several weeks ago, that it’s going to get worse before it gets better, that’s how this whole process works. “I have brought you here so that you can see things from My perspective and when you begin to see things from My perspective… you will be changed. You have been called to Love as I Love and in that, all of the unresolved issues that are in your heart that you have been holding onto towards those who have caused you much pain will be resolved. The ‘Emotional’ log-jam will be dispersed and the river of My Love can then flow freely through your heart towards others… even those who have caused you much pain”

DEAR JOHN PAUL , I READ DEALING WITH UNRESOLVED ISSUES OF THE HEART. I WAS CRYING AND OPENED MY E MAIL BOOK AND SAW YOUR NAME AND LOOKED UP YOUR WEB SITE. I HAVE A TOOTH ACHE. AND FELT SO SAD MANY ISSUES HAVE COME UP LATELY . I HAVE A GROWTH ON MY NOSE THAT NEED A TEST. NOV 2, AND NOW MY TOOTH ACHE. IT SEEMED ALL THE PAIN I FELT EMOTIONALLY HAD ERUPTED AT ONCE. SO
I REALIZE I HAVE UNRESOLVED ISSUES OF THE HEART. I ASK FOR PRAY TO RESOLVE THESE ISSUES.TO LET GO OF THE EMOTIONAL PAIN THAT DISTROYS THE WORK OF GOD IN OUR LIVES . THANK YOU

I’ve discovered that when I’m going through difficult or challg times that journaling, writing poetry, is like a healing balm that helps me to accurately pinpoint the source of my struggles and at the same time makes me thankful for the pain. Because without this pain I would wonder if I ever really knew HIM at all.
Dear John Paul, I recently took your 101 class and since then I have been having a lot of crazy dreams… I am looking forward to taking your 201 at the end of the month and am hopeful that I can get some insight on what these dreams are about. I have been seeing the numbers 555 almost everyday for the last two weeks. I have been praying about it but have not figured it out, I was hoping there was a website I could visit that might explain the possible meaning.

I think I lost site of the forest for the trees. I’m not sure I see how the dark night(s) tie into the tabernacle. Then, what is in the rooms of mystery? I assume since we are talking about transition that they are rooms you move through to get to a place of closer intimacy with God. Soooo then, we take a whole life to get there? I guess some never get there? How does this tie in with the dark night?
…just trying to make sense of things.
Although I have learned much reading these blogs…I too am feeling like “one of those” and am wondering how this is all tieing into the “dark nights”. As I said, I am learning much, but perhaps it just steered into a direction that I was not expecting. This is NOT a complaint, but rather my own PERSONAL observation…
I say it that way, because what has detoured me for a while from this blog was seeing people communicate it ways where even if they were differing in feelings or thoughts from one another, some have been in my observation, hurtful in their words, and not always lending the grace to allow others to see things, hear things, and feel things differently.Sometimes, its just the ugly root of PRIDE that does this…PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A JUDGEMENT! Blogs are blogs, but In love I really needed to explain my own absence. The beauty of being created by the CREATOR, is that he loves and blesses our individuality…I love you ALL and pray that we all continue to learn, relate, feel, express, grow and LOVE the way he desires us to..in UNITY, even when we disagree…

I’m presented with a question involving the following scripture and well this post also makes me question how you would explain the 2 following scripture verses…
1. Mark 3:29
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be
forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin…”
2. Luke 12:10
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be
forgiven , but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit
will not be forgiven.
So… this does present the possibility of confusion. Because some people I know say that there really isn’t an answer to fully explain what it means to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit but if it’s the one unforgivable sin one would think there has to be an adequate response to the issue because certainly our God would want us to understand what that is!
I think I have an understanding but I’m open to hearing how you might respond to that and I think this might go along with what the blog’s been about because it’s been about entering the Holy of Holies and dealing with the sin in our lives and so forth… well, I’d sure appreciate a response to this blaspheme issue.
